This place is wonderful. My sister and I absolutely loved it. It was so nice and clean. We had a gorgeous view of the mountains from our deck. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great getaway and perfect host

Unit was perfectly located and easy to get to all amenities in the area/community. Host was over the top accommodating and made the home very comfortable. We will try to stay here again.

Our home away from home for 6 nights was just perfect. The condo was immaculate and very very comfortable. The community is amazing up so high in the mountains. We loved our stay!!

Excellent Vacation Getaway

The condo was clean, comfortable and relaxing. All within the beautiful Mountain Air community. We enjoyed the surrounding sights and activities in and around Burnsville as well as the parks and hiking trails within Mountain Air.

Visit to the Mountains

Beautiful, quiet condo in the mountains. Has all the essentials supplied, and an amazing coffee bar. Communication with the owners/host was great. Any issues/concerns we had they took care of right away. They also gave us great tips on local restaurants and activities. We will definitely stay again!

Escape from the heat

We needed to get away from the sweltering heat and were fortunate to find this gem. It was such an amazing gift when we arrived. This property is located in a community high up on a mountain ridge with spectacular views and exquisite landscaping. The hosts were so helpful with information about the area, restaurants suggestions, any inquiry we had they were quick to text with answers. I simply cannot gush enough about how wonderful this place was and we look forward to our next visit 😁

Diamond in the Rough

The time was peaceful, quite. Nicely situated atop a lofty mountain. Breathe taking views in the morning. A white fluffy cloud mist that awakens you with that nice cool mountain air. The property has all your needs and more. You would have to experience for yourselves. Will definitely keep this on this list. Very hospitable owners.

Awesome Mtn Get-Away

Just had to get away for a few days after a hectic Fall season. This beautiful condominium unit sits at almost 4000 ft elevation and has all the conveniences of home. Located within a high-end residential mountain community, all the grounds are meticulously maintained. The sunset views to the west are stunning looking out over the Appalachian Mtn range. Mt Mitchell and the Appalachian Trail are only a short 30 min drive, great area food and music in the small nearby mountain towns, all just 30 min north of Asheville. Come up, relax and enjoy the beautiful sights and crisp mountain air. We’ll be back!!!

WONDERFUL STAY!

Highly recommend this unit! The host was very attentive and helpful. When we misplaced our key to the unit late night and were locked out, the host, Mike made arrangements for a new key to be delivered quickly. The place was spotless and well equipped. Great location… 10 mins to Burnsville with great restaurants and shopping, yet you feel a million miles away as you are at a high elevation with a spectacular long range view of mts. Decorated beautifully! Pictures don’t do it justice. The drive to the unit is a treat as the development is manicured yet much is natural mt. setting with boulders exposed, streams and waterfall. We even saw a momma bear and 2 cubs, and large buck on the mountain. We enjoyed hiking on a trail where the trailhead was close to the unit too. We will be back!!

Stunningly beautiful location and the condo itself was immaculate and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Communication with Mike the owner was excellent; he texted several times to check in and ask if we needed anything. Highly recommended! Would stay here again.

BEST host, awesome accomodations

Our host responded with a call or text to our questions before and after we arrived. The view from the spacious balcony and main bedroom was spectacular. All of the Mountain Air staff including ground's maintenance were genuinely nice. Every Mountain Air owner/resident was welcoming. One couple invited us to their home! GREEN BOOK ALERT! We are a retired Black teacher & Black govt employee. While shopping at a local grocery store in Burnsville, NC we experienced a frightening episode with a white man in a pick-up truck. The incident took place in the parking lot while we were loading our purchases. I was afraid enough to leave that day but my partner encouraged me to stay. After that display of hatred we made sure to be inside the Mtn Air complex before sunset. We enjoyed the rest of our stay on the Mtn Air premises and in lovely Asheville.

Tree house

But with the comforts of a wonderful home… You can spend the entire day at the condo enjoying the ever changing sky through the trees. After spending 4 days enjoying a daily meal at the local brewery, we think we have found the hidden gem that is Burnsville … and will definitely love to come back to this condo which was perfect for our family of DINKS + dog. The condo has everything one would need .. berry spacious and lots of storage for a longer trip too!! The hosts were always a text away for any clarifications or suggestions. We had chosen Burnsville thinking it would be closer to the mountains to hike… while everything is at at least a hour away, the town of Burnsville has its own charm Of small town life and surprisingly great food, music, beer and artist. Do check out maples the bakery, the local brewery and MW art works!! We hope to be back soon.

Relaxing stay.

We recently stayed at this property and had a wonderful time. We came looking for the opportunity to get away and relax and we were not disappointed. A quiet location with wonderful views ticked the boxes for us. Also the Host was very helpful with some questions.
