Kentucky getaway
Very up to date, I think whom ever cleaned the house before we got there missed some things other than that we very much enjoyed our stay. Only real downside was having to park on steep incline for the driveway and had parking across from the house but was a little tight, again we did really enjoy a our stay as home was inviting

Amazing home close to the water!
The house was amazing and as advertized. Clean and comfortable with an awesome hot tub. The hosts were very nice and even helped us out when we had a broken down vehicle. I would definitely recomend this property!

Fabulous weekend getaway

Overall good cabin
We spent four nights at the cabin. Overall we had a great experience. There were plenty of indoor activities for our six kids to do- foosball, games, tv. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. The cabin was stocked with all the household basics like towels, cooking pots and pans, blankets, etc. One thing we didn’t anticipate is the terrain surrounding the cabin. It is situated in the woods on a hillside and there wasn’t much outdoor play space for the kids to explore that wasn’t steep for little ones. The ground was wet and muddy making slips easy to happen. We did enjoy the nearby tennis courts but that was the extent of nearby outdoor (walkable) play space.

Christmas Visit
We had a wonderful visit to this cabin. This is our third time staying here. We meet here to have Christmas with our families being from Michigan and Georgia. The cabin was Very clean and we love the spaciousness. We play cards and enjoy time in the hot tub together. Thank you for allowing us to stay! We will be back next year!

Pictures are a bit misleading
I thought we could access the short set of stairs but I couldn't park near them. Both driveways were extremely short & very steep and the loose gravel and slick moss made it very hazardous for us [age 70]. The layout of the cabin was nice, except for the downstairs bathroom [the commode was in a very small 'closet'.] The furniture was comfortable and there were adequate throws and extra bedding. There were some maintenance issues...gas logs wouldn't start [maintenance was very responsive to fix this] , towel bars loose, the hot tub cover was too heavy to move and I couldn't get but a few of the jets to work, the screen around the hot tub was ripped and the gutter had a big damaged section. the ceiling vents were dirty, and the porch light was out. The towels need to be replaced [dark stains and there was only 1 hand towel and three washrags in the upstairs bath.] The extra security of the gated community was nice and the overall location was great.

Maintenance items
The overall property was very clean but several maintenance items needed. Towel rack upstairs bathroom broke, entry doorknobs stuck, vents were dirty, only two left burners of stove worked, upstairs shower door falls off track.

Great place to stay!
We really enjoyed our stay over Labor Day weekend with our kids. Lots of space and amenities. Beautiful scenery all around! We also loved the hot tub and resort pools. Would stay again and recommend to others.

We all enjoyed our stay! Anytime we are back in the area we would definitely book this cabin again. The only thing I noticed is the propane was empty for the gas grill and there was a wheel off on the daybed in the loft. The home was clean and very comfortable.

Great Place!!
We very much enjoyed our stay. House was spacious and plenty of room for kids to play. Everything you need is available in the kitchen. Only complaint would be the musky smell in the house , but nothing air freshener or candle didn’t fix. I would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful and Relaxing
Stunning scenery, in a quiet neighborhood, lots of trees and birds. There was an owl or two talking every single night. The pools are clean and refreshing. The entire house, hot tub and neighborhood was immaculate. We took day trips to surrounding areas after checking out Burnside (Cumberland Falls and Somerset for dinner, allll the way to a zoo/rescue in Tennessee) We didn’t go boating this trip, but there is also a boat dock. Very relaxing rental home with all the necessities for you. Pack a bag and food!

It was a little difficult parking with a 22 ft boat. I did not like that the boat was under a tree and got debris on it. The hillside was a little tricky for parking a boat attached to a truck. I would advise future renters of that parking situation and the winding roads in hauling a boat. My husband is very experienced with it, but it could be troublesome for others. The home was very clean and decorated very nice. We loved the screened in porch. Kitchen was equip with everything. The host was very accommodating and communication with them was very responsive. The area felt like you were in the mountains and very peaceful.

Nice getaway
The house was clean and ready for us. The hot tub was nice. I think we struggled to figure out how to use all the jets, or maybe some were broke. The house is pretty close to neighbors but you’re still out in the woods. The wifi was good. The parking was a slick but three parking spots was nice. Overall a great place and would stay again!

Hot Tub Therapy Weekend
Location was great. We arrived later than planned but accessing the cabin was easy. Home was nice but there was trash all over the porch and especially around the hot tub. The upstairs bathroom had urine around the base of the toilet. Also the dust was thick on the wall around the fridge as well as on top of the cabinets. We did enjoy our stay and would return but hope the cleaning issues are taken care of.

Loved the cabin!
We loved our stay and can not wait until we can come back! The only issue we had was the floors were very dirty. There were chunks of mud on the stairs and pretzels on the floor around the furniture. The hot tub was amazing and the view was great! We will be coming back to this cabin for sure!

Fantastic Mountain Stay
Kids had a blast being outside playing in the woods. Owners thought of all the extras in the house. Fishing was fun at the dock. Just the right amount of towels, extra blankets and pillows. Hot tub was huge. Heads up, it is a 30+ min drive from all the parks and attractions. Can't wait to come back.

Restful & Relaxing Weekend
We really enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect getaway for our friends and family. The area was beautiful, the home had a great area to hang out with a nice warm fire to sit by, the space was perfect size for what we needed, and the kids really enjoyed the foosball table up in the loft area. Andrew had great communication and made sure that were well taken care of. We would definitely come back and stay here again.

Beautiful cabin in the middle of nowhere!
We loved our stay! We had a small problem with the toilets when we got there and Andrew was very quick to respond and get a handyman over immediately. Communication was great! The games there need to be replaced as they're all missing pieces and scattered and the heat filter needs replaced (it was making noises and the place was pretty dusty) but other than that the place was in great condition. The hot tub was amazing, especially in the cold weather. Be sure to pack everything you will need as the town is not close and there's not many shopping options. We did go to Guthries Grill for dinner in Burnside and it was delicious! Try the Warm Salmon-Avocado Dip, you won't regret it. We had a great time and would definitely come back!

This is our second time at this cabin! We enjoy a nice family weekend for Christmas each year. The hot tub is our Favorite place especially on those cool nights. There is the perfect amount of sleeping for the 10 of us. We look forward to staying here again.

We really loved the property. Had to call the owner who quickly responded. The only complaint (which is not a fault of the owner) is the signage coming into the property. Other than that zero complaints. Literally planning the next time we are able to visit,

Everything was good we all enjoyed our time perfect amount of space for 6 adults
Very disappointed with the cleanliness of the property, all was good except the sheets were not changed, the bedroom with the door to the deck, the sheets had hair on the them, when we pulled the blanket back, what looked like animal hair and human hair, my daughter took a video of it, also the air filter above the bed in the loft is really dirty, also those sheets did not look clean either, whom ever cleans for you needs to do better, luckily we had brought throw blankets with us and laid them down to sleep on, we did strip all the bedsheets and pillow cases and left in floor so maybe they will get washed before new guest arrive

Adult getaway
This property was very nice. Lots of stairs to the only entrance. The pools were close driving proximity but no restrooms was a huge inconvenience. Plenty of room and the outdoor porch was ideal.

A Comparable and Cozy place to stay
The house was beautiful--very spacious with plenty of spots to settle down and get some real R&R. My parents really appreciated the separate thermostats for upstairs and downstairs since they like to sleep with the temperature cooler than I do. The kitchen had pretty much anything we needed in terms of food prep items and storage containers. The screened in porch was in good repair. Though there were spots where the mesh was loose, I never got any mosquito bites while in there, and I'm a mosquito magnet any other time. The hot tub was wonderful and in great shape too! The owners were also quick to reply to any of my questions. There were only two drawbacks to note. 1. I'm not the most technologically inclined, and the front door has a keypad lock. It took me two days to figure out I had to press the logo at the top of the keypad to get the keypad to show up. 2. The grill is in really rough shape, and needs to be replaced. My Dad and my husband both were wary about using it at all since they had so much trouble lighting it, but all our planned meals were meant to be grilled so we made do. My family loved this place, and we hope to be able to rent it again next year!

Family Retreat
The place was great for our little reunion. The kids loved their upstairs. Plenty of games and TV. We’ll stocked kitchen, hot tub was wonderful. The grill could stand to be replaced. The two bedrooms downstairs share a bath. The upstairs has a roomy shower. The entire area has minimal signage . I would suggest a printed map of the places you’re planning to visit during your stay to study. Listening to the GPS directions worked so so.

Beautiful home
Was very nice home, plenty of space and comfortable. Be prepared to use your parking brake, parking is on an incline and I used the side stairs, because I’m afraid of heights and had to be very careful making your way up to them. Overall we loved our stay and had a wonderful time, worst part, one week goes by way too fast.

Very nice rental
This was a beautiful house with plenty of room for my family. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. I would recommend this rental. The owners were available for questions and to help retrieve an item we left!

Great place!
The property is exactly how it looks on the listing. We loved the screened in porch, there was room for everyone to hang out and visit. The hot tub was a hit with the kids. Overall this was a great cabin, we really enjoyed staying there!

Great little place
First off, we loved the place, and had a great time. Communication was great, price was great, the hot tub was great... the location was great and the place was great too. Here's some of the things we liked best: - The hot tub was in working order. It was old and a bit worn, but it was hot and bubbly. - The kitchen was VERY well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and virtually everything you could need to prepare meals. - The screened in deck was in good shape and we could sit out there without worry of insects. - The TVs were smart and working great. - The WiFi was fast enough. - The cell reception (we have AT&T) was barely there, but it was there. That said, there's always room for improvement, so I'll list the things we saw that needed a little attention... - The hill on the hot tub side of the house was extremely slippery when it rained, lots of moss and bare patches of dirt/mud. - The propane grill was not in what I would consider a safe operating condition. Lots of rust and it looked like one of the burners was damaged. - The roof in the loft had a large water spot that was peeling back the drywall tape. It didn't appear to still be wet, but it had been at some point. - The beds are definitely on the firm side, and the added pillow tops didn't do much to soften that. - The downstairs toilet was tiny and in a tiny little room inside the main bathroom. I doubt most people could close the inside door while sitting on the toilet. I know I couldn't. The upstairs bathroom was fantastic and large though. And the downstairs toilet is easily usable by just ignoring the interior door. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Stay!
We stayed for our spring break and enjoyed the Cumberland Falls, Lake Cumberland, and took a two hour drive to the caves. The house is a ways up the mountain and is in a very private location. The main town is about 20-25 minutes away, but everything you could need is there. Overall, it was a great space for our pup and a family of 4.

Rest and relaxation at the end of a long winding road!
Easy renting and confirming the use of the property. If you’re looking to get away from it all then this is a great place! The hot tub was outstanding!! Not much else in the area for entertainment if you’re looking for that.
