"A very enjoyable stay in a quiet spot with view- just what I like. Attentive host.One thing I need to give feedback on is that the online description included "kitchen", so I took food that could be cooked on a stove top. "Our stay was perfect from the moment we checked in till the end of our stay. Tony and his wife who own and operate the motel were great. They made sure that our stay was enjoyable and a highlight in our New Zealand trip. Location is 5 minutes walking from a lovely sand beach and lots of restaurants. Would gladly stay again. "

"Beautiful setting - felt like being a time and a world away. Fresh eggs & cookies in the kitchen. Dogs had a wonderful time. Shower is delightfully hot. Had never taken a trip through the hills before, highly recommended, and if you’d like staying away from the hustle and bustle then this place is the one.
