"We stayed in the Linwood Suite for 1 night. The room was spacious, luxurious and comfortable. The breakfast was of a high quality. The room is immediately above the function area and noise travels easily (there was a wedding reception) - we weren't warned about this previously but it was not a problem as we went out to dinner and the noise quietened down before midnight.
Unfortunately the experience was ruined by loud noise in the room. It was a mechanical noise which sounded like a generator...

"It was snowing when we arrived. The room was very cold because of no heating. I returned to reception, complained and the heating was connected, After a few hours the room heated up. At 2 am I woke up. The room was very cold and without heating. I called reception for more that 30 minutes but no one answered. In the morning I complained. The hotel answered that there was nothing that could be done. No shampoo in the room. I will not return. Not recommendable."

"It was a great flat. it had everything we would need including eco friendly shampoo and washing up liquid. It was really handy for town and the park. The washing machine worked well and was much appreciated. We managed to get the TV working, and that had loads of stations! Comfortable bed and good shower. Clean and smelt fresh.
It's hard to tell exactly what places are like because this site always relies on tick boxes. so it didnt seem to mention that the shower was over the bath. Not very...

"We were visiting for a gig at Piece Hall and are so glad we chose to stay at this absolutely wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Halifax. From the moment we arrived the staff were warm, polite and helpful and this continued for the duration of our stay. As it was such a nice day, we sat in the beautiful garden and enjoyed drinks and food from the bar menu before heading into town for our concert. . Breakfast (extra) was also very good indeed. It’s not the cheapest hotel, and not the most fancy...

"Booked for parents to celebrate fathers 80th. Accomadated a last minute change to more accessible room and late afternoon food.
They both really enjoyed stay and could not say enough about quality of staffing and overall experience!"
