Lakefront dog-friendly home with kayaks, SUP's, huge screened porch

  • Offering a serene spot directly on Lake LBJ, this home lets you swim, fish, and kayak off a private dock on a quiet no-wake cove. Two adult kayaks, two kid kayaks, and two stand-up paddleboards are provided. You can paddle to the main lake in less than five minutes. The water in front of your vacation home is deep enough to support boats of any size, including wakeboard and wake surf boats. The private boat ramp in the neighborhood is ideal for launching your boat. Lake LBJ is a constant-level lake, which is always full and does not change due to drought.

    The gorgeously updated interior is perfect for groups and features a spacious great room and gourmet kitchen. Make yourself at home in the lake-view great room, highlighted by soaring cathedral ceilings and ample natural light. Unwind on stylish furnishings and stream your favorite shows on the 55" smart TV. Channel your inner chef in the sleek kitchen with a full suite of stainless steel appliances. Enjoy appetizers at the kitchen bar, then sit down to home-cooked meals at the dining table.

    The primary bedroom has a lake view, while a guest bedroom holds a 32" smart TV. The adjacent bathroom has a sparkling walk-in shower and a full-sized washer and dryer. Another bedroom is a loft with an en suite half bath.

    Discover the beauty of Texas Hill Country in Kingsland - less than five miles away. Hire a boat and jet skis from Wave Chasers, then spend the day on the region's glittering rivers and lakes. Wine lovers can explore the award-winning Perissos Vineyards, while golfers can hit the fairways at Legends Golf Course. Just 15 miles away, Marble Falls offers more opportunities for watersports along with hiking, biking, zip lining, and horseback rides.

    This stilt home is accessed via a flight of external stairs.
    Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible.

It was a very peaceful visit. The place was beautiful and it had everything we needed. We were 5 but it was big enough for more. I loved that it was pet friendly as well. I would love to come back one day again.

Great family time on the river

Great little house on the river. Nicely stocked kitchen with plenty of essentials, games for family, toys for toddlers, kayaks and SUP for teens. Nearby mountain biking and Inks lake water hole. Highly recommend staying here.

Awesome spot

We absolutely loved this place. Right on the water tucked back in a quiet beautiful cove. We were able to tie our boat off the the dock/sea wall and be on the main body within minutes. We really appreciated this place being dog friendly and accommodating our furry family member!

Great Stay

Place was super clean, comfortable and at a perfect spot on the lake. The ladder to get out of the lake was broken, but that was literally the only thing wrong with the place. Would stay again.

A Hidden Gem on the Water!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Secret Cabin in Burnet! The location is unbeatable—nestled right on a peaceful canal that leads directly into Lake LBJ. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway.The cabin came fully equipped with everything we needed, making it feel like a true home away from home. We especially loved taking the paddle board and canoe out on the water—it was such a fun and memorable experience!One of our favorite features was the huge shower—so spacious and luxurious. Every detail of the cabin was thoughtfully designed to ensure comfort and convenience.We can’t wait to come back and enjoy this little slice of paradise again. Highly recommend!
