    Cabin Fever is a 5 bedroom/5 bathroom house that sleeps 20 people.  This home has a large covered patio with a pool and hot tub.  If you need plenty of room for your family & friends this house would be a great choice!  Cabin Fever is on Log Country Cove property and is property managed by Log Country Cove with 20+ years of  five star hospitality in the Kingsland area.  Non-motorized items included in your stay.

Cozy and Enjoyable Stay for a nearby wedding

We absolutely loved the cabin and the beautiful surroundings. It was very cold and the wildlife was abundant. We did have a water pressure problem that was dealt with immediately and effectively. We would definitely stay here again.

WOW Girl’s Weekend

Had a great time. It was the 10th Anniversary of the WOW (Women Of Westbury) Girl’s Weekend. All 9 were impressed with the House and area and many are thinking they will come back with their families.

Great vacation home

Great place to stay. The property was wrll maintained. The check in ptocess was easy. The activities at the commons area were a pleasant surprise. The kids had a lot of fun.

Log Country Cove is Fantastic

We have stayed at Cabin Fever several times in the past and it has always been fantastic and this stay was no exception. We had a large group of family and friends for a wedding in Burnet and the accommodations were very comfortable and cozy when the weekend turned Texas cold. The check in process was super smooth and they were very gracious in accommodating our request for an early check-in. We will definitely stay at Cabin Fever or other cabins on future visits. Great location and will definitely return.

Nice getaway

Nice house,pool and outdoor kitchen. Had trouble with no hot water in showers and the beds could use an upgrade. It had good outdoor area and pool and a picnic table large enough for our group of 15.

Great but warm

We had a very large group. The house was great! The only kind of complaint is that the A/C unit couldn’t keep up. Upstairs was 80 during the day and about 74 at night. Not awful, but not great. Overall the property was great! If it wasn’t for the crazy heat outside, it would have been perfect.

Outside cushions were shot, some light bulbs needed replaced and batteries in remotes. Had a bit of trouble with the hot tub but a call was all it took and it was fixed and even checked on the next day. Staff was wonderful!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented both Cabin Fever and Coyote Moon for a large girls' retreat (45 people total). Both homes were beautiful, had comfortable beds and furniture, well-appointed kitchens, nice linens, and were close enough that we could walk back and forth easily. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub at each home, as well as little touches like corn hole, horseshoes, and the chimineas. Everything was VERY clean... truly, not a single mark on the shower glass doors, and we were very comfortable. We are already talking about having next year's retreat there again.

Reviewer Comments: We recently rented both Cabin Fever and Belle Oaks for a girls retreat weekend, with Cabin Fever as the "main" house where we cooked all meals, swam, etc. This is our second year renting Cabin Fever and we've had great experiences each time. The house is well-equipped, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and it sleeps a ton of girls. We will continue to return to Log Country Cove. This was our first year going down to the Commons Area at the lakeshore, and we will definitely return there in the future. The girls had a great time kayaking, paddleboarding, playing putt putt, sand volleyball, and jumping off the rope swing. It was a great weekend.

Labor Day Get Away

We stay at Log Country Cove once a year and this was our first time at this house. Great place. Four downfalls: (1) Update their blender the bottom doesn't stay on when you mix. Luckily family member brought their own. (2) no wine bottle opener (3) hot tub heater didn't work for late evenings. (4) Spider in one of the beds for the outside rooms.

Over the years the houses have had more and more issues. The hot tubs have not worked for the last 2 years. The heater in the house did not work this year. It may be time to find a new location for our family Christmas weekend.

Cozy Cabin Getaway

It was further away from the lake, but still close enough to enjoy an evening walk down to the lake to watch the sunset or grab a snowcone from the snowcone truck.Our pros: felt quiet and private, air conditioning worked well, nice open floor plan, outdoor grilling station, pool, and kids play area were awesome in the backyard. The oversized picnic table in the front breezeway was a favorite spot to gather. The resort is a treasure and all the amenities by the office are a treat!Our Cons: MUST GET NEW MATTRESSES. They are all hard as rocks. Very limited supply of kitchen cookware. Bathrooms needed a deep clean, new shower curtains, and new towels. Top bunks on bunk beds needed railings, and same with railings needed on the main staircase, it was a safety concern.Overall, we loved the rustic charm of Cabin Fever and would stay here again.
