Very comfortable, beautiful location

We had a wonderful stay at Church Cottage. It was very comfortable for our family of four and perfectly located for exploring all the Cotswolds highlights. The cottage was clean, well appointed, and exactly as described on the site. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We’d happily recommend it to others.

Delightful Cottage

Weekend break

We spent a lovely weekend in Burford and Church Cottage was a delightful place to stay. Ideally situated, in a quiet area. Lots of restaurants, cafes and independent shops on your doorstep. So much to see in the Cotswolds.

Wonderful!

The cottage is perfectly located in town but on a quiet side street next to a beautiful church. The house is in great condition with attention to detail. We had a wonderful stay and will be back!

A great stay in Burford

Church Cottage proved to be ideal for a comfortable and relaxing break in Burford. The cottage is perfectly located very close to the centre of Burford, but in a peaceful position away from the busy main high street and next to the impressive St John the Baptist Church. We would certainly look to return in the future.

Perfect stay

The cottage was beautiful and in a fantastic location. It was extremely well equipped for cooking and very clean. The beds were all comfortable and car parking was very handy. Communication with Robin & Emma was easy and both were friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Church Cottage for a relaxing break in the Cotswolds.

Quaint Cottage in Central Burford

We spent 4 nights at Church Cottage while visiting to attend a wedding. The cottage is in a great location off High Street and is well equipped for a group of up to 6 people. Beds were comfortable with nice living and dining areas. Kitchen is well equipped with all the amenities needed for our group. Parking in private driveway was a bonus as parking in Burford is challenging. Garden was a beautiful place to relax. Communication with our hosts was faultless and made for a great stay.

Great location for short stay in Cotswolds

This is a lovely cottage in the heart of the Cotswolds with 1930s evocative styling and sheltered garden to enjoy the summer sun. Good provision of equipment and everything we needed to help celebrate our son's wedding.

The downstairs rooms worked well for us - especially the sitting room which, due to the double aspect, was as flooded with natural light all day. The French windows in both reception rooms allow a seamless link to the rear garden and side terrace. Having an on-site private parking space is a real boon in Burford. The owners were kind and helpful once our booking was confirmed, and the housekeeper brilliant during our stay. All-in-all, Church Cottage is the perfect bolthole for anyone wanting an independent stay in what we think is the best town in The Cotswolds.

Gorgeous cottage in a perfect location. Church Cottage had everything we needed for a short stay however with its fully equipped kitchen and spacious dining and sitting rooms we could easily have stayed longer!!Conveniently located just off the high street and near the church it’s perfect for a quick stroll to all that Burford has to offer. Parking for 2 family cars on the drive is tight but lots of free parking nearby so no issue. Only other word of warning is that the stairs up to the bedrooms are steep so maybe not ideal for v young children or oldies!!Otherwise couldn’t fault this Cotswold gem. Thanks for having us.

Beautiful Cottage and Convenient Location

We enjoyed a week at Church Cottage in Burford and delighted in the cosy cottage, fantastic secluded garden and convenience to Burford High Street. Be aware of steep staircase, that was our only concern. It is located right beside St. John the Baptist Church with fascinating history and great Cafe 15 in Warwick Hall.

Cozy cottage

Church cottage was extremely comfortable. We loved staying in it. Just a short distance to shops and church on Sunday. Surrounding countryside was beautiful. Would definitely stay there again. Housekeepers were great! Thanks for the memories we have from our time there.

Church Cottage for NYE

Property is just as advertised - everything is provided and we were made very welcome - the area from the Church at the end of the lane to the village and the Cotswolds beyond affords visitors a beautiful slice of England - enjoy, as we did!

Beautiful cottage in the Cotswolds

Church Cottage is ideally situated on a quiet lane right next to the Church and only moments from the shops on the High Street. Very well furnished with thoughtful extras such as a bluetooth speaker we could use in the garden. Very highly recommended.

Wonderful Garden

Thanks to four days of glorious sunny weather, we were able to make full use of the totally secluded and very attractive garden. Spent much time in it; from breakfast to sun down. While within minutes from the Hill, Burford’s bustling high street, it is very quiet and the view of the church is beautiful and soothing.
