"Absolutely Great stay. The host was outstanding and responded to us very quickly with all our questions. The history and the view are outstanding. We went fishing and walked on the Forge all the way across right at our front door. One of the best places I ever stayed. Must visit Downtown Shepherdtown and Hapers Ferry. Sooo much history . Also must eat at Rock Hill Creamery absolutely the best ice cream Ive ever had."

"Very nice and relaxing cabin! It is 20 min from the town and not much nearby so it’s very quiet. Everything was kept very clean. My son liked having his own room (although he complained the mattress wasn’t comfy he fell asleep fast). The hot tub was easy to use and clean. The only confusing part was Orbitz said check out was noon but the email from the owner said 11 the morning of so we had to rush out. I would definitely recommend this property though."

"This place is one of the best houses I’ve stayed in Berkeley Springs! Very clean, hot tub was tremendous, great view with a deck and the fire pit was perfectly located. It has all the amenities and comforts of home. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return. "

"We had a wonderful stay at The Ginger. We loved the seclusion and the view! We even had 7 deer visit one evening. The place was clean and comfortable! The decor is cute and the cupboards were clearly labled and everything that we needed was available for us! We had such a relaxing weekend. We definitely would love to come back!! "This is a family friendly place with ample space for the 6 of us to have our own space. AC was wonderful (portable one in the off space but central in the rest). Hot tub got a lot of use, you can see the neighbors but very quite open space which was also great for excitable kids. Wonderful fire pit, stocked kitchen and grill. We plan to go again next year. "Based on a few other reviews, of it being 'rundown', yes - you can tell its aging, but it was a beautiful cabin, very private and quiet. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. The bedroom and bathroom in the bottom floor was very nice and can tell everything was newer. Overall a geat little getaway and would definitely go back if we had the opportunity. "
