The host/house manager was very accommodating. The property had dock construction underway on our arrival so we were given the option of staying in the nextdoor house owned by the same owner. We opted to stay there instead since we had grandkids eager to fish off the dock. The house and surrounding property were beautiful. Provided us with everything we needed for a wonderful weekend getaway. Would definitely stay at either property in the future.

Wonderful stay with my extended family for Thanksgiving! It had almost everything you could wish for, we were able to make a Thanksgiving meal with no problem. Communication with Andy was quick to respond and he was gracious enough to extend our check out a bit. Thank you for giving us a place to make more memories!

Original rental had ongoing repairs, so we received a next door location upgrade. New place was great! Had a door access code issue likely due to rental location change, but they fixed it. Added rental of the pontoon was also greatly appreciated. Responsive host and manager.

My favorite activity was early morning on the porch. We saw hosts of osprey, 2 eagles, kingfishers, redheaded woodpeckers and even a loon.

Fabulous place

Beautiful home with everything you could need including a Keurig and gas grill with gas provided. Lovely view and plenty of room for extended family to eat and play together. Its our second stay here and we would love to come back.

Perfect Autumn setting for Thanksgiving week

We had a wonderful stay at Wake & Lake! The house has plenty of space, seating and is very well appointed with everything you might need. Susan was super helpful and welcoming. We were very thankful for the firewood and fire pit, as we enjoyed that thoroughly. Beautiful sunsets and foliage only added to a very memorable stay. Hopefully we will make our way back some day. Thank you Andy and Susan!

Absolutely Wonderful!

My family and friends ALL LOVED it! I can’t say how wonderful a stay this was. Plenty of parking which was a must for our huge family event, lots of room, plenty to keep you busy, beautiful view of the lake, plenty of seating for a large group. The only negative I would have ( and it’s petty on my part) was that there were no cleaning supplies. I am a clean freak and it was hard for my sister and I to leave without cleaning the way we do at home. Dish washing liquid, a very small bottle, would have made the trip complete 😄 Thank you Susan and Andy for a wonderful weekend! You’re THE BEST!!!!

Wonderful Wake and Lake!

We had 5 families stay at this beautiful property including 7 children. We had a fantastic time. House was super clean and the kitchen was the most well stocked I’ve ever seen in a rental property. It was set up perfectly for our large group to spend time together or time apart! The kids loved the beach and the shallow swimming area. The only cons I can mention would be the dishwasher needs an upgrade and the downstairs sinks and tubs were slow to drain. Can’t wait to rent this wonderful property again! Thanks Andy and Sue!

Beautiful house

This house was absolutely perfect for our group. Susan was extremely helpful during our check in and stay. The house was beautiful and clean. It was a perfect location on the lake with a wonderful dock. Highly recommend this place!

Tranquility a perfect place to relax and enjoy family time

Perfect sunsets and peaceful waters for swimming paddle boarding and kayaking and clear skies for stargazing. Plenty of room in the house to spread out and relax and enjoy lots of activities . Wake and Lake is in a great location and is as pictured, updated and comfortable. Property manager Susan super nice and very easy to reach. We rented the pontoon boat. It was perfect for seeing the whole private side of the lake . The house has a sandy beach front we spent a lot of time there sunning in chairs and floating on the water. We had a fantastic time and we plan to return. Thank you Andy and Susan for sharing your amazing retreat with us .

Great for families

We had a great time at the house, and the only complaint was that the Internet/WIFIb was really slow which impacted the house TVs. We know this is being corrected as they had just started to install Fiber optic at the end of our stay. The main floor upstairs was a bit noisy with the bedrooms on either side.... kudos to Susan, the property manager as she is a great communicator and responsive to our needs.

Week on the Lake

We enjoyed everything regarding our stay at the lake house. The parents started their day off with coffee on the pontoon boat. We had several outings to cooler coves on the lake for swimming and fishing. The paddle boards were used all day long and have sparked a new hobby! The teens and young adults enjoyed the game room above the garage. Family meals were prepared every night in the large kitchen and enjoyed at the large tables indoors and outdoors. The deck fan made sitting outside very enjoyable at dinner time. All the beds in the house were comfortable. We all slept great and woke up refreshed every morning ready to go!

Beautiful late March stay

Perfect weather. 60-70°. Great layout for family of 8. Decent memory foam-firm mattresses. Plenty of pillows-no extra bedroom blankets. A lot of towels. Kitchen decently stocked, although glassware could be updated. Need to bring firewood in March. Plenty of smart tvs. Hot tub is great! 2 terrific grills (standard and black stone griddle).

Family Christmas Trip

Andy was quick to respond to any questions I had. The property manager Susan was very nice willing to accommodate my family during the Christmas Holiday with the check in and out times. We loved the house and it was just like the listing in the site. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pot and pans. There was toilet paper and paper towels already there but we brought some just in case and left some for the Next group. There was plenty of space for everyone. Game room for the young adults was a plus. The steps were a challenge to downstairs so keep that in mind if you cannot do steps. The boat house and lake were beautiful. They had fishing poles and a jet pack for use. We did a little fishing but did not catch anything. We loved the gas fire place and the gas grill. It rained so we did not get to use the fire pit but maybe next time. We will definitely rent from Andy again. My family and I loved the property and will be back again when it is warm so we can enjoy the lake.
