Location was absolutely perfect. Loved the dock area and all the water toys that were available for use. House was well equipped with all that we needed for our stay. We all agreed that the only downfall of the property was how dated it was. The pictures online were a little misleading at the size of the rooms and the "finished quality" of all the rooms. I would have liked to see the home a little more clean as well...cob webs very visible and peeling paint with mold on the living room ceiling. May have a water issue, the whole house smelled damp and musty. Dryer didn't work and kitchen faucet drips nonstop. Just minor details though, we absolutely enjoyed our trip to Lake Anna and would come back again. Best vacation ever, so very relaxing, we didn't want to go home.

Family vacation

My family has stayed on Lake Anna for many years on many different properties. This location has pluses and minuses. On the plus side: comfortable mattresses, great dock, newer ovens, great deck off kitchen, nice grill, great responses from our person at Vacasa. On the minus side: kitchen was dirty upon arrival as was the dock area, return vent in living area needed to be cleaned, frig door shelves broken, issues with plumbing while on property (all were fixed), huge stains on carpet in master, floor in master bath not level so issues with door, sliding doors hard to open and close, kayaks and paddle boat in listing were missing (2 new kayaks delivered by end of our stay). This could be an amazing house, just needs some work.

Great spot on the lake.

Just got back from a relaxing long weekend at the lake and cannot wait to return. This house has amazing outside areas. The dock is a great space to set up for the day. My family was down there all day swimming, fishing, paddling, and just relaxing. Got to watch some football lake side which was an added bonus. The interior is nice, but dated. The house could use some TLC on the inside and some of the sliding door were not working properly. Still it was clean and comfortable for my family of 4 and our dog. Already looking at our calendar to book out next stay at GGs.

First trip to Lake Anna

We loved our stay. House was wonderful, great view, boat dock and more. Definitely would like to return. There were some minor things that needed repair, updating or cleaning, but overall LOVED this lake house.

A week of family and memories made!

First time at gigi’s and a lake vacation with the family (mom/dad/adult kids and a few of their friends) house fit us with plenty of room. The house had everything we needed and i appreciated some toilet paper, paper towels and hand soap to get us started. The house needs some tlc as some things need fixing, but that didnt hinder our vacation in the least because the dock and boathouse was our location of choice for the week. It was amazing and we made so many great family memories here! There is a boat ramp just down the street so we dropped a boat and a jetski, brought kayaks and sup boards and just had a blast. The house did have plenty of floats and kayaks for use just to float around the cove. The hot tub and fire pit were a wonderful added bonus. Truly a fabulous vacation! Highly recommend gigi’s!!! We would stay here again but do hope they fix a few things.

Loved this waterfront location.

The open layout and sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group of 6. Kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed using the gas grill and deck area for eating. Beds were comfortable. The highlight of this property is the boat dock, where we spent most of our time swimming/fishing and with rented kayaks, and jet skis. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable and the lawn was mowed during our visit. I would describe the carpets/chairs/furnishings as being a bit "tired." While I believe a good attempt at cleaning was accomplished since the August reviewer's comments, I'd encourage that process to continue.

Great place for outdoor fun

This house has a really great dock with lots of equipment to play with in the water. My kids really enjoyed the sand area as well. There were many fun games in the house that we enjoyed. The house was clean and we had a great time.

GG's always feels like home

Another great stay at this property. Perfect spot for a long weekend getaway with friends! The outdoor spaces offer something for everyone - firepit, dock, and hot tub. Always responsive, solid communication. Can't wait to return.

Another great week

We lo e this property and have already put in our request for 2023! The dock is sensational and the wifi makes everything go smoothly in the evening. I love hoisting my 20' boat out of the water after every ride with the electric covered lift! Swimming and relaxing on the dock are my famies favorites.

Great Family Weekend

We had another great long weekend at GiGi's. Fishing , swimming, fire pits at night and watching the kickoff to college football at the dock were among the highlights. We are already booked for next year !

Fabulous time at GG's Lake House...again

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at GG's Lake House and we love it there. The beautiful patio furniture, large covered area, and bar with sink and full sized refrigerator makes the dock a great place to hang out with family and friends both in and out of the blazing sun. The house is clean, beautiful, and well appointed with a great deck overlooking the lake. Thanks again for your hospitality!

Another great stay

It’s a good house with a great dock. Great views, love having three full size fridges including one at the dock for drinks. Dock with the diving board makes the stay. Having a boat lift is another great feature. Nice deep water at the dock in a no-wake cove but just seconds to open water. Having a Bluetooth stereo at the dock adds to it being the gathering place. Downstairs toilet is a tight space but two family areas is nice when folks need some alone time. Wi-Fi is solid if not record breaking.

Fourth of July weekend

Had a great stay overall as there were just a few small inconveniences. The dishwasher wasn’t working but we were alerted to prior and so it wasn’t sorely missed. The house could use a deep clean but we were outside the most of the time! The area was secluded which was nice but to travel for groceries it was a little bit aways— but we knew this going in so we planned appropriately so didn’t rate down for this. Loved having a fridge in boathouse as this was very helpful in carting drinks and food back and forth. The boathouse was amazing and we spent most of the time out there—- as there were 2 kayaks, a SUP and pedal boat. There was plenty of floaties and fishing rods but we brought our own. Caught plenty of fish and the views were amazing! The owner was very responsive with the few questions I had. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic dock and outdoor amenities

Our family had an amazing stay! The outdoor areas of this property are its strong point - fantastic dock, boathouse, sandy beach, firepit, and hot tub!! We hung out down at the dock all day and had a fabulous time. The cove location was great as well. Only two areas for improvement - The dishwasher was broken while we were there, which we were notified of the morning of check-in. Also, I love the king-size beds, but the mattresses could use updating. All-in-all, really fantastic week at this house. Will definitely be booking again!!
