We enjoyed the house. Plenty to do with all the games and very roomy. Public dock very close to the house that was great, and lots to do on this side of the lake. Will visit again. Very close the the marina that has boat rentals that was easy to arrange.

This lakefront home was as advertised. Check in was smooth, the home was clean and neat, with lots of extra pillows and throws. This cabin/lake house is modest in size, yet boasts a terrific basement level with games, bunks, and movie watching space. The kitchen was small, but very well stocked with cooking utensils, air fryer, stove, microwave, and a large refrigerator. Although it was hot and steamy outside (VA July!), the house stayed cool, and the patio space under the deck was a great place for the kids to play, with a relaxing view of the trees and a peek of the water for the adults. We enjoyed our stay. The deck is a bit worn, but we made good use of the large outdoor dining table. It would be great to have an outdoor push-broom to sweep the patio, as leaves do tend to accumulate.

Good stay and property. However some false advertising and poor service communication

Comfortable, clean, enjoyable stay. A few outdated or false pictures of the property. The pictures show having a full size ping pong table topper to the air hockey table. The only ping pong table was a very small unpictured children's table that was maybe 3x5. The pictured actual dart board has been replaced by a small and cheap toy magnetic dart board that isn't strong enough to hold the darts. One of the kayak backs were broken making it so not everyone could join.Guest service did not seem to know the property. Incorrect instruction on where the outdoor trash storage was located (and it's color to help find). Inquired about if additional parking was available on property or nearby due to people needing to arrive depart at different times and was told there was no room/a strict 4 car limit and not sure of other local options causing an uncomfortable carpool. The drive way could have easily fit multiple additional cars.

Family trip to the East Coast.

It was perfect for our family. Plenty of things to do and plenty of places to sleep. Great communication with the property manager. We had an enjoy stay and made lots of family memories.

Patels cozy cabin

The place was overall ok. Good space and basement decor and games are great, but the shower in the basement did not turn on and the washer and dryer were disconnected so we couldn’t dry bathing suits after using the hot tub.The hot tub smelled like it had not been cleaned in a while, kind of a sour mildew scent. Lots of trees down outside on back patio area.Good space and was fine for short weekend stay for our family.

The check-in process was not smooth because the person texting me had many typos and was passive aggressive. The home had obviously not been cleaned before we arrived. The hardwood floor was dirty and looked as if it had never been polished. The kitchen was full of mold in the drawers. There were dirty dishes and cooking utensils, and it was obvious that it was not checked after the previous guest. There was trash in the main bedroom. One of the sofa beds had an earring sticking out of it. The hot tub was disgusting and murky.

Holiday getaway

The location of the cabin and surrounding area are beautiful. The veiws from the living room and deck are amazing. The gameroom was enjoyed by everyone. The kitchen needs some deep cleaning and organizing. The bathroom door sticks andIt's easy to get locked in. The entry codes that were given prior to arrival did not work. Its very family friendly. We enjoyed our time here and would come back again. it is eas to get locked in thethroom.

Great lake house!

We had a great time at the house with beautiful weather! We had a big group staying and had many meals outside on the large deck! We enjoyed the hot tub, and the lake was beautiful. We did not use the kayaks and paddleboard at the house as the lake level was quite low and would’ve been difficult to get in/out. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

Comfy Cabin

Our family of 6 adults and 2 children had a wonderful, relaxing time in this comfy home. The view of the lake was very pretty. We loved the hot tub, comfortable beds, large deck, outdoor shower and water toys. The kitchen table was small and crowded. The kitchen was small, but functioned well. The refrigerator was large and modern. Our biggest disappointment was that we were not able to swim off the dock. The property is at the end of a very long inlet. So the water was muddy and stagnant.

Family Overflow

We rented the property next door as well as this one to have room for our large family gathering. The game room was perfect when the kids wanted to play. The house is comfortable and clean. It was a really hot July so the upper loft wasn’t usable but we still had plenty of room and sleeping arrangements. The location on the water was great. The lake was a little low and the boat slip wasn’t usable so if you have a boat you may need alternate arrangements. We were able to tie up in a slip at the marina right next door. There was plenty of parking for the boat trailer. The outdoor shower was great and the deck is big. Plenty of room for gathering. The fire pit was nice with plenty of chairs. The property is well maintained and very nice.

Great experience!!!

We had such an AMAZING time staying here! There were plenty of rooms and sleeping areas for everyone in our party. The game room was great for the teens. We all fished from the dock and caught lots of fish. The only issues were the propane being empty for the grill, which the property managers let us know about so that we were able to plan and get it filled at the marina around the corner. Also the area rug in the game room had been soaked by pet urine from a previous guest. We just rolled it up and left it outside and it was fine. Other than those minor issues the property is great! I would stay here again and again!

Fantastic!

We absolutely loved staying in this cozy cabin for the weekend. We had bad weather but thankfully the hot tub and the game room downstairs kept us plenty busy! Such a perfect spot to stay for a weekend getaway. We would definitely recommend!

nice retreat

Perfect for family stays. A lot of activities. Beds very comfortable. Ice maker not working. Bring Ice. Stores 16 minutes away. Extra fridge down stairs. We spent many hours playing nickle/dime poker at the card table down stairs. Then sit around the camp fire. Tested the kayaks. Had a lot of laughs. Hot tub was not ready for us. Very dirty, but after I called, someone came out and got it all cleaned up and ready to go. New concrete Patio under the deck . It was very nice. We put a couple of chairs there. Hopefully they will put a couple tables and chairs in the near future .for a shadey place during the day

August Stay 2022

The cabin was nice, clean, perfect for our family. Our only disappointment was we were not able to swim in the lake at the property, there was too much algae growth. Of course we realize this was of no fault of the owners and we did enjoy the kayaks. All in all we had a great, enjoyable time.

Great getaway!

The house and property were a wonderful fit for the ten of us! We loved the comfy living room and large couch for playing games. The outdoor tables provided plenty of room for us to all sit and eat together, and the umbrellas made it comfy despite the heat. The inside of the house was very clean, wonderfully air conditioned, came with sheets and towels, and with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. It would have been great if the Adirondack chairs had been cleaned beforehand as they had some pretty substantial cobwebs and spiders. The lake had a lot of scum so we didn't use it, but it was still beautiful scenery. This might be true of all rural areas, but at night, the amount of gnats drawn to the lights made it impossible to stay outside. The house is managed by a private company rather than the owners, and they were very responsive when we would call with questions. The management company only supplied a few dishwashing tabs and garbage bags for a party of ten, and when we called to ask if there were more available, they said the company only supplies those limited amounts for free, and we would have to purchase more. That would be fine in a lot of areas, but we had to make a bit of drive to purchase more. It just seemed to lack some hospitality because it is run by a company rather than private hosts, and the decision to supply such small quantities didn't seem to make that much sense considering we were a larger party.

Great girls trip!!

We had such an amazing time at this beautiful property. The house was very clean, well decorated, and had so much room for the 8 of us and a dog. The deck was perfect for morning coffee, and being right on the lake made everything feel tranquil and perfect. We had an excellent weekend here!

Patel Cozy Cabin Stay

Great place! The description is up to date, fast communication with property managers, great amenities (hot tub to die for!). Huge backyard, huge front yard, plenty of beds, fun indoors or out. One thing that was unfortunate was the microwave did not work, but everyone had a great stay.
