Well located, comfortable apartment, but deceiving description
We traveled to Latin America to visit family scattered in different places and during our stay in Buenos Aires we rented with Fliphaus twice (on March 7-14 and then between March 24 and April 7th) and the last stay we booked through Vrbo because we found a better offer. The apartment had the amenities as described, but it had humidity on the walls and the gym wasn’t yet implemented (during the 2 weeks of our rental the machines were literally abandoned outside of the place for the gym just covered with plastic to cover for the rain). Despite of that we were comfortable in the apartment, the internet allowed me to work and the location was very convenient. We had some issues on the checkin process because we didn’t have easy internet access without wifi, but once the check in information was provided, the vault for the entrance key and the key pad made our access to the apartment very easy. Something that wasn’t quite right was that the deposit for the first apartment wasn’t refunded after some weeks of our stay, but I thought it was due the other reservation we had on the books… however, after over a week of leaving the second apartment I emailed them to ask what’s the delay with refunding the 2 deposits we paid as part of our check in process for each apartment. After a lot of chasing I got the first refund issued but the second is still “on hold” on their app and I’ve been unsuccessful trying to get an answer from them as they decided to ghost me. What a shame on Fliphaus.
