Having relied upon rental listings on VRBO for years and extensively travelled Colorado my entire life. This property is one of the best I've stayed in. The environment is spectacular. There are tons of outdoor activities with in a short drive, and Buena Vista is a nice town with amenities. The best part was despite being nearby some other residences, the property does sit on some land, and you feel miles from anything and anyone, there is no downsides here!The property manager was easy to get a hold of, patient and responsive.

This was a great hideaway during a busy Memorial Day weekend. The cabin was immaculately clean and Jean was always quick with responses. Our family enjoyed the view from the sofa as much as the hot tub. As for me personally, identifying and "communicating" with all the birds using the Merlin app was a blast. At one point we had over a dozen Pinon Jays partying with us in the backyard.

As we drove down the road we took notice of all the nearby cabins and none have the views this one does. Incredible views and we got the “frequent visitors” our last morning there. Place is clean and can get really toasty if you want it to with the fireplace and heating. Fire pit and hot tub were great for the winter weather while we were there. Definitely will stay again.

Took much needed family vacation and this place was perfect. Very clean, hot tub was nice and all the quiet and secludedness a person could want. Communication was fast and helpful every time as well.

Our family of four enjoyed a 3 night stay in November. The cabin was roomier than we expected yet really cozy. It is located a short drive from town but feels hidden and private. We relaxed in the hot tub while star gazing in the evenings. We did not use the kitchen much, but it seemed well stocked. Internet/wifi was not strong but we knew that going in and was part of why we selected.

I can’t say enough about this cabin! The location was absolutely amazing! Super clean and very cozy! Has a fully stocked kitchen and even though the temps were in the 20’s at night, you’d never know it cause the cabin is so well insulated! Barely even had to use the heater! We sat in the hot tub almost every night and watched for falling stars. Jean was such a good host. If you have any questions, she answers very quickly. I loved it there! We will definitely be going back!

Love coming to this place. It is quiet and has all kinds of wildlife around it along with a wonderful Hot tub!. This time of year, not as many people there which is right up our alley! Have stayed before and will definitely stay again! Would recommend to anyone who would like to be off the main drag and watch deer, birds, chipmunks and rabbits daily!

This was my second stay at this cabin. The location couldn't be better -- the adjacent wilderness and the privacy but in the middle of all the BV fun. And the cabin itself is so comfortable, with every detail considered. I can't wait to come back.

Possibly my favorite vrbo stay I can remember. The cabin is secluded, has great views and is close to several interesting sites: St. Elmo ghost town, Mt. Princeton Hot Springs, Cascasde falls and Agnes Veille falls to name a few. The property itself was clean, comfortable and well stocked. We enjoyed eating breakfast outside on the picnic table, sitting on the breezy patio in the evening, grilling dinner and most of all sitting in the hot tub under the starry sky.

We spent two nights at Jean's cabin with our family (6, 8). The location is perfect for rafting the Arkansas and hiking all around the area - including two lovely hikes a mile down the road. The backyard canyons are just stunning and we enjoyed the hot tub watching the night sky get filled with stars. Kitchen was stocked and gas grill clean and ready to use. We hope to return!

We spent a week enjoying the mountain view off the back porch, while grilling and in the hot tub. Seeing deer walk by was a treat, Well stocked kitchen makes it easy to fix meals at the cabin.

We loved this cabin and its surroundings. It was clean and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable. It had all the provisions that we needed and more. Hikes were convenient. We visited the hot springs and the trout hatchery and Buena Vista. We saw a lot of wildlife out our back door with beautiful mountain views. It was a comfortable size for the 3 of us.

The cabin was the perfect place to spend our family vacation! The view and location was just incredible. Our kids (7, 5, 2) enjoyed exploring the woods nearby & making smores on the fire pit in the evenings. The hot tub was also perfect after a long day of exploring. This was our second stay and it was as wonderful as the first! The secluded location with Mt. Antero and Mt. Princeton as your only neighbors is perfect! The stars we viewed from the hot tub were unlike any we have ever seen. The cabin itself is clean and well-appointed. The kitchen has every possible appliance and cooking need imaginable. The bed and pillows are comfortable and the towels are soft. The cabin is much roomier on the inside than it looks from the outside. We enjoyed walking the back property, listening to the rushing stream and hearing the bird calls each day. This place is exactly what is listed and more. I hesitate to say too many great things about it, for fear of it being booked next year when we return!

This was the perfect vacation home for our family of four. Kids loved exploring the property. We used the hot tub, grill, and fire pit. Good hiking trails and geocaches close to the cabin. So much to explore close by that we stayed in the area the whole time and never even went to town.

We loved the location, the view, and how close it was to the hot springs. The only small complaint i have is that it smelled like cigarette smoke from previous years. Other than that it was great!
