Large house in fun neighborhood--big enough to hold six of us, aged 10-80, with space for all. Easy walk to town, parks, golf course. Private back yard with various seating areas. We loved this house.

Family Ski Trip

The house was extremely clean, homey, and comfortable. It was exactly as pictured and had ample room for our 6 adults and infant. The house was also amazingly well stocked. I loved that there was plastic food containers to use for left overs, extra towels, laundry detergent and so much more that made the trip go smoothly.

Family Reunion

The house was very accommodating. We had a toddler and infant in our group and 9 adults. The dining room table was large enough to accommodate all of us and loved the outdoor space. It was a lovely older home with lots of character.

Wonderful Home within walking distance to Downtown

Wonderful clean home that easily accommodated our large family group. Home was well equipped with everything we needed. Kids loved playing in backyard. Great places to hang out both inside and outside the house. Good neighborhood location within walking distance to downtown Salida. Will definitely plan to stay again when back in Salida.

Resting Place

It's a beautiful home that's well kept. The main road in front of the house was closed and I wished we had a heads up on that. The jacuzzi tub did have mould that came out of the jets, but other than that, it was great.

Top Salida property

A wonderful place to stay. Very comfortable. Has everything you need. Very comfortable beds. A little cold, however, being from Florida that was expected. I absolutely love the claw tooth tub. Solita is a fun place to visit and this is the perfect house to stand. Looking forward to a return visit.

Such a cute home!

What a cute home to stay in! We were in Salida for our daughter's wedding. We LOVED the location and the house. An older house that is was so quaint with up to date appliances and so well supplied. It was everything we needed and more. Personally, loved the sunflower room. Fun to watch the deer everyday. We had a small issue getting into the house (lockbox no longer there keypad on the door) After hours was so easy to reach and not only stayed on the phone and ready to come out if needed but followed up with multiple text/email in the morning to make sure everything was good. Would definitely rent this place again. Loved the home and the town of Salida!!

The house was good , just the normal things that 100 year old houses don't have but over all it was all good. House was well equipped , nicely decorated and it's a nice walk into downtown. My only complaint and it's fairly big , is the exterior landscaping is a huge mess. We drove by the house twice because we thought it couldn't possibly be our rental , it looked like it was abandoned. If I lived next door to this home , I wouldn't be happy . The owner needs to be a better neighbor and look after their property !

Comfortable home with easy walk to Salida downtown

La Dimora was a cozy, clean and well maintained Victorian home. Perfect for our group of 3 couples. Nice outdoor spaces. Kitchen came very well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, spices and paper towels. Great home base for hiking, biking and whitewater sports with an easy walk on the trail to downtown.

Great Historic House

This is a really nice historic home, that looks even better in person than the pictures are able to capture. It had pretty much everything that we needed for our stay, especially all the amenities you need for cooking. The only things I would note: there was no shampoo or conditioner in either shower, and the bedrooms all get very cold (we stayed in winter) with the doors closed. There were space heaters and extra blankets to help with this. Otherwise I would highly recommend this property!

Great girls trip

Despite getting record breaking snowfall and low temps for the time of year, we had a great time and the property served us well. Easy walk to downtown. Enjoyed snowshoeing and nearby hot springs. Updated home had lots of room for the 4 of us and was very clean and comfortable.
