Charming and cozy
When we first drove by the property, we thought oh boy, that’s really small. is it going to work? But when we got into the cabin, it was wonderful. It’s an open concept, living room, kitchen, bedrooms, a fine size. All in all, it was a pleasant surprise and a great place to stay we would do it again.

Want to come again next month!
Creative fun decor. Maximize small space with thoughtful modern conveniences. Want to stay here again next month! Perfect walking distance to coffee shops that let you linger on their patios. Love that you let well-behaved pooches come with their people. Thank you for letting us stay! Plus a great friendly small town.

Dasappointed
The cabin was not as expected, but the owner agreed to a full refund. I tried to reach the manager by phone and text several times w/o success. This was very frustrating. There were dishes with old food on them. Covers with animal hairs, dead bugs in the window sills and a dustpan full of debris and a paper plate under the couch.

A great find
This cabin was perfect for our weekend stay as a home base while in Buena Vista for a wedding. It was clean, comfortable, and cozy. We loved it! That said, we would not advise it for tall people. :)

This is a very cozy little cabin in a quiet Buena Vista neighborhood within walking distance to downtown Main Street restaurants, bars and shops. We had a good experience and would certainly stay again! Thank you Melissa.

Little cabin in winter
Cozy little cabin with fireplace to warm. Lots of wildlife just walking around and pooping:) everywhere not fenced. Good little place to have your base while hiking and soaking in hot springs.

Perfect Location
The Pleasant Cabin was the perfect location for our hiking vacation. It was close to many trailheads and was an easy walk to the downtown area to shop, eat, or just hang out. The cabin is the right size for a (short) couple. The property manager responded to messages quickly. Our only complaint was that the front door does not open all the way (it catches on the floor) making it difficult to load/unload the car.

Quick weekend stay
My husband and I rented this place for the weekend before a running event. It was a fantastic choice. We had no car while here and had no problem getting to restaurants, coffee shops, breweries or the grocery store on foot. Was a cozy cabin and I would book this place again before the event.

A very nice stay
Me and my wife stayed here for a short weekend vacation to enjoy the hot springs in the area. The owner put a lot of thought into this cabin and it was very inviting. The location is convenient if you are going to go to stores or restaurants. Overall it was a great experience.

A tiny home in a great location
Least possible square feet. The kitchen/bathroom/bed are primitive. The ceiling is so low, I could only standup in the middle of the room. The mattress was almost a piece of plywood with a sheet on it. The property is in a very quiet neighborhood with deer everywhere. It was about a 6 block walk to downtown Buena Vista. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Mt Princepton Hot Springs are about a 12 minute drive to the SW. Gorgeous mountain views. The BV Whitewater Park provides great hiking along the Arkansas River.

The Pleasant Cabin is 440 square feet. The entire unit was completely updated in 2018. The mattress was replaced again in 2021. It is rated "firm." So I take great exception to the comment "primitive," as well as only standing in the middle of the room. The height of the ceiling on the north side of the cabin is described fully and fairly in the listing description and photographs. This unit will not be comfortable for some tall people. If a prospective guest is not sure please look elsewhere or contact us! Most sincerely, Kim

My six-year-old daughter appreciated the games, and we both enjoyed the cozy cabin as well as the gas fireplace that heated it up.

We really enjoyed our stay. Flew in for a wedding at the Barn in Buena Vista and really enjoyed being close to downtown. Property is SUPER clean and comfortable. Book with confidence.

Cute little cabin!
The cabin is cute, comfortable, and clean. Perfect for 1 or 2 people, but a third adult may be pushing it. You could put a small kid or two on the couch/futon, but probably not ideal for a 3rd adult. The kitchen was stocked well enough for us to cook and eat our food, or reheat leftovers. It is a quiet neighborhood and we had no problem sleeping at night in the cozy bed. If you are a tall person, you may have to duck as the vaulted ceilings are low on the sides of the cabin, which includes the shower. I'm 5'3" and got by fine. My 5'8" husband was OK, but at least the shower head could be hand held, so he didn't have to duck to take a shower. Everything was comfortable. I recommend this cabin for non-tall people needing a cozy, convenient place to stay in Buena Vista!

Great Ittle place for two adults
Quiet residential area, nicely finished, close to everything in town. The only thing preventing it from being perfect was poor WiFi and internet connection.

Perfect little cabin in a quiet neighborhood
This cabin was perfect for our small family of three. The cabin was just as described. It was very clean and had all of the amenities we needed. We were able to easily walk to downtown and to various parks with our 4 year old. The owner/property manager was very quick to respond to questions. I would definitely recommend this property to others.

Wonderful!
The cabin was the perfect fit for us! We were in town for a multi-event wedding and the location was ideal for walking to downtown events and the shuttle to the wedding venue. It's charming, quiet and having a small outdoor spot was really nice. Even though It is a small space, we even had room for a friend to visit one night. We had an amazing time! thanks!

This is a quaint historic redone property. Easy to find in a quiet neighborhood with deer visiting neighboring lots and streets. We were warned by the propert owners that the height of the shower was low, and they were correct. So if that is something you missed, be warned. Pros: Newly decorated, quaint property, clean and plenty of room in living and bed rooms. Dishes and glassware for use. Cons: Low height shower, very small bath with no exhaust fan, no tv, no A/C, although they provide a small fan and you open the windows for cool air at night. I know that is the norm for this area, but I dont like to leave windows open at night in foreign locations. I know matresses are subjective-my husband really liked the FIRM (I mean mortician’s slab hard) mattress, but I had to go to the couch to get any sleep it was so hard. Just be warned. The front door is warped and does not fully open, so that made loading and unloading our stuff harder.

Perfect Location
Very clean and well stocked. Bed is nice a firm. Snowy white towels. Quirky in that the front door doesn’t fully open and ceiling height in shower is low. (Make sure you note this in the listing). Perfect location to walk to restaurants and shops. Quiet street. The house behind has a deck right outside the cabin’s bedroom window. You can hear the people staying there when on the deck but we were blessed with good neighbors. Pet friendly is a HIGE plus. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful. The cabin is very comfortable and welcoming. Everything was very clean. Towels, sheets and dishware were of better quality and supplies were generous. We truly felt welcomed, and so enjoyed our stay. We found some wonderful restaurants, as recommended by the host. We want to come back.

Cute little cabin in a residential neighborhood. No patio, but two chairs in front of the cabin on the street. Also, no air conditioning or ceiling fan. We did get to see lots of deer!

Great little cottage close to town. I’ll definitely stay here again!
My son and I stayed in BV for the weekend and I’m so glad we found this cottage to rent. The beds are really comfy and it’s updated which is nice. We could ride our bikes to town but were far enough away from the hub of activities at nite that it was quiet enough to sleep.

Relaxing, delightful, great location
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit in Buena Visit at the Pleasant Cabin. It is charming, has all the amenities we could possibly want and was close to downtown. A perfect place for day trips to sites in the beautiful Arkansas River Valley. From this cozy spot we had access to bookstores, shops, the library, restaurants, the river and nearby hotsprings. We had a relaxing and wonderful stay. The cabin is perfect for two people. We most certainly will consider returning on future vacations.

Adorable Cottage
We loved staying at Kim's cottage. It was just the right size for the two of us and had all the amenities (we used our laptop as a TV...:) we needed. Convenient location and very quiet.

cozy get away
I was on a solo trip to join a group to hike up Mt. Harvard, 14,420 elevation. This one bedroom cabin has a nice kitchen, a nice bedroom, and a great location just blocks from Buena Vista's downtown. Manager/owner was quick to respond to questions not answered in the binder of helpful info.
