Darling Cottage
Stayed here while my daughter's college lacrosse team had a tournament. It was the perfect location and made it feel like I was on a mini vacation. The kitchen and large fridge were perfect as I needed to prep team snacks and salads. Hope to stay here next year! Thanks Erin.

Great stay in Buellton!
The cottage is great and we had an excellent stay! It's just a short drive away from Solvang. We liked not staying right in Solvang because it feels quite touristy in the city. This is a very peaceful spot. Highly recommend

Perfection!
This property was exactly as shown, maybe better! Central location for our Solvang visit, everything you would want in your own home. So peaceful and quiet, very relaxing and well appointed. No comparison to a hotel or motel, even our well behaved dog felt at home. We will go back again and recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you again!

Quiet weekend in Buellton
Erin’s property is very cozy and is the perfect place for a quiet weekend in the Santa Ynez Valley. We loved feeding Jack and Henry carrots and enjoying the beautiful property. Will definitely come back!

Comfortable and Convenient
My wife and I stayed at the Cottage for a couple weeks while bicycling in the area. We found it to be comfortable and equipped for all our needs. Out of the hustle and bustle of Solvang, we found it quiet and peaceful while being conveniently located. Erin was a pleasant and responsive host.

Love the cottage!
The cottage is even nicer than the description. Very private. Super clean, nice amenities such as shampoo, etc. in the shower, coffee and teas, sodas/water in the fridge. The bed was super comfortable. It was February so we had some cold weather, but loved sitting on the deck with the fire pit. The donkeys, Jack and Henry, are adorable. The location is central to lots of trails, towns, beach, all within 45 minutes. Beautiful countryside. We have already rebooked!

Enchanting and cozy!!
My husband and I with our 2 little dogs stayed for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time and felt safe. As you enter, you are greeted by a tunnel of trees that takes you directly to the cottage and greeted by two inquisitive donkeys. The cottage was equipped with everything, including safety features like an extinguisher and a emergency power bank. We use the laundry room and cooked every day, morning coffee on the deck then dissert watching the sunset. The highlight of staying there was feeding carrots to Jack and Henry. Erin and Joe were very pleasant too and helpful. Not only do we recommend staying there, but we will never forget it.

Buellton Cottage
We enjoyed out stay of three nights in this very quiet retreat. It is well equipped for some cooking. It was too cold to enjoy the covered porch with fire pit. The only indoor seating other than the small dining table was the sofa/futon, which was quite low to the floor and not very comfortable for sitting and watching TV. Cable TV apparently is not available, so the only option is the Roku unit, which only provides streaming service. We couldn't watch network shows that we normally would have watched. There is a DVD player. However, overall it was a very pleasant place to stay.

The neighborhood is uneven and the cottage needs to be spruced up. The fireplace on the balcony was my favorite and the donkeys.The property fee is exhorbent considering that there are pretty dumpy properties around it. We paid an additional pet fee on top of the property fee. After you pay it you get a message saying the dogs have to be kenneled if you go out. The owner adds that if this not something you are willing to do then she will recommend places where you can leave your pet. Our pets are old and we would never cage them or leave them anywhere. This is fine except that this should be disclosed on the website before you book. Total transparency should be required when it comes to the pet policy.

Serenity, charm and hospitality.
This charmimg, historic cottage in a private and serene setting was the perfect place to retreat for the soulful rest I was seeking! The pastoral vista from the wrap-around porch, the fire pit glowing at night, and the water fountain all served to lull me into an unparalleled relaxing experience. The hospitality exceeded my expectations with so many meaningful extras: carrots to feed the donkeys, cold sodas in the fridge and a complete narrative in the guest guide introducing the animal residents of the property. I felt so welcomed, while also enjoying my privacy. The check in/out was seamless; the front door is keyed in with a personalized code which is emailed to you. Communication was easy; through texting as needed. I will definitely be a return guest!

Little Getaway
The cottage was absolutely wonderful. It looked exactly like the photos. It was very homey and it smelled so fresh and clean. We loved the small touches that Erin provided (drinks in the fridge, lots of coffee and tea choices, essentials in the medicine cabinet). It is in a very peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We sat outside at night and enjoyed the fire pit. It was very relaxing. We woke up to different birds chirping. It was great! We loved visiting Jack and Henry. It was so neat to see donkeys on the property. We definitely would stay here again!
