Lovely property it has everything you need to have a relaxing break and includes all the necessitys you would need. Lovely host , great communication and leave's milk ,tea, coffee, sugar and cakes so you can enjoy a cuppa and cake on arrival. A* would recommend

Easter break at The Hideaway

A very pleasant experience. The host was helpful, flexible and informative. The property was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The village is beautiful and there is a lot to see in the surrounding area. We would love to visit again. Thank you Claire and Lee for a lovely stay.

Wonderful staycation

A wonderful little apartment, had everything we needed. Owner was very good with communication and also respected our privacy at the same time. The hot tub was a great addition to the place for the evening time

Absolutely amazing

The Hideaway is so peaceful and relaxing in the quiet village of Marhamchurch.We were so pleased with everything it had to offer a great fully equipped kitchen a relaxing living room with a large smart tv and 2 bedrooms we only used one which had a bed so big you could get lost in it.The garden is so quiet and the hot tub just stops it all off.Bude is only a 5 minute drive away and a lovely place to visit with other places of interest not far away. The hosts Claire and Lee are wonderful anything you need nothing is too much trouble but also one thing which pleased us they just leave you to get on with you’re holiday Thank you so much for such a relaxing time we’ll definitely be back

Absolutely fabulous stay! Claire was a fantastic host. A great location for a range of different walks. Bude is about a 50 minute walk down the canal. Widemouth Bay is around 45 minutes walk if you walk up past the Weir restaurant. The weir is a great place to eat.

Family holiday

Property is in a great location to explore cornwall. Hot tub available for use, dog friendly and owners close by and contactable if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Pub close by for drinks and food. Bude only a short car journey away or by walking down the cannal path. The garden is secure, so perfect for dogs and children.

Had a really great, peaceful stay at The Hideaway in June 2023. Really lovely property, very quite location, with great facilities including a fabulous hot tub. Claire was a great host and extremely welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommended this property and host to anyone!

Lovely Cottage

The cottage is lovely. It is situated in a village not far from the A39 which makes visiting other places in Cornwall easy. The village has a lovely pub within easy walking distance. The accommodation is very comfortable, the shower in the bathroom was good and the Hot tub area secluded and private. Brilliant few days away.

A Little Cornwall Getaway

We have absolutely enjoyed our stay at "Hideaway". Claire has been amazing from the moment we booked the holiday to when we were there. The property was so warm, welcoming and homely. Our dog was also welcomed and he enjoyed it as well 😊. We also hired out the hot tub which was the highlight of the trip and Claire made sure it was alwaya filled up every day and looked after before we went in. Washing utilities are also available and you also get freshly baked cupcakes and fresh milk provided upon arrival 😁. Highly recommed. The location was quite central to a lot of sites we planned to visit (Boscastle, Tintagel, all the beaches near by, Summerleaze, Lifes a Beach, Crooklet and Widemouth). There is also a seapool in town plus all shops easily accessible too. You can also get to St Michales Mount, Lands End and other lovely places with just a few minutes/hours drive. Overall - its been a wonderful experience at this lovely properly.

Christmas Getaway

Perfect accomodation

The property was exactly as it was listed, which for us was perfect. Owner Claire, had provided everything you could want/need, personal touches such as blankets on lounge shelf, just lovely. Communication beforehand was excellent, Claire accomodated last minutes changes and provided what we needed. We had very little contact with Claire throughout our stay, which is what we wanted, but we knew she was there if we needed her. Perfect accomodation/weekend away, would highly recommend.

The hideaway had everything we needed

Claire was a lovely host. We did have a little trouble finding the property on Google maps but it wasn't too far away we found if we put tea cosy cottage in it took us past it as it's tucked away. The property had everything we needed and more perfect home from home for friends or family only a short drive or good walk to the town centre in bude with a local pub nearby and the town has a lot more than I thought with shops, pubs and restaurants. Hope to stop again in summer when the weather's better and with the option of the hot tub if you wish to pay the extra to relax after a long day of exploring is great.

Bude with friends

Just back from a great weekend, break. Highly recommend this accommodation host went above and beyond providing bath robes, towels, hairdryer and kitchen essentials. Hot tub was amazing and summerhouse a welcome addition. Comfortable spacious accommodation. The only small negative was the host didnt come to introduce themselves, would definatley come back thankyou..

Hideaway holiday

Property clean and comfortable, outside garden was very nice. Hot tub and summer house very nice too. However the space between the hideawayand the hot tub could do to be tided however this did not distract our enjoyment of our stay. Would recommend this proerty to family and friends.

A lovely get away

We enjoyed the property very much it is located in a lovely area and as it’s title suggests nicely hidden away, fully stocked inside with all the essentials to make the stay even more comfortable. The property owners were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish which was an added bonus to an already great get away.

A Cosy Hideaway

An extension to a bigger house. A good base for us with family in Marhamchurch. Good facilities. Excellent super king bed. All very clean. Claire excellent both before and during our visit. Would certainly stay at the Hideaway again

Lovely little house

Very nice location, village pub very friendly. Loved the hot tub. Maybe garden could have been bigger with 2 dogs but plenty of beach walks. Had everything we needed
