Baywatch

This is the perfect place to stay if you like the convenience of a short walk to the beach. The view of the beach is exceptional The property is presented beautifully, with many thoughtful finishing touches that make a big difference.

Beautiful property with a wonderful view

Pretty much everything about the house was first class. Its been so well thought out by Lucy and Ross and we felt like guests in their own home. All their communications were prompt and helpful. The arrival gifts were thoughtful, the kitchen was stocked with absolutely everything you needed....the kids loved the garden and the trampoleen...we loved the balcony and the view. Just a beautiful place to chill out for a week.

Absolutely fantastic holiday. The house was stunning with brilliant views. Very short walk to the beach. Lucy and Ross were lovely to rent from. We needed oxygen delivered for my father and they were so accommodative. It was such a shame we had to come home!!

Location, Location, Location

Fantastic property in a great location within easy walk of beach and short drive to Bude. This spacious house was very well equipped inside and out, spotlessly clean throughout with everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay. Lucy and Ross were super hosts, large hamper of goodies on arrival was a lovely surprise that was most appreciated. The house is beautiful inside and well equipped. We were welcomed with a lovely hamper of goodies, something for everyone. It’s just a short distance to a good beach with amenities and a scenic drive to a favourite surfer’s beach, Polzeath! Check in and out was easy. Thank you Ross and Lucy!

Great stay

Lovely home from home with beautiful sea view from the balcony. Great communication with the owner about check in etc. Can walk to the beach and the kids loved body boarding. Great eating places within walking distance and lots of places to visit within a short drive. Hope we can visit again.

Beautiful House, Fabulous Location

We had a wonderful stay at Baywatch. It is an extremely comfortable house with the most amazing views over Widemouth Bay. The layout of the house makes it perfect for a multi- generational family or 2 families staying together. It’s only a couple of minutes walk to the beach which is great for body boarding & crabbing. Communication from Lucy & Ross was brilliant and they gave lots of helpful info about the local area. I would highly recommend this property.

Absolutely amazing, in every way!

I can’t recommend this beautiful home enough. Spotlessly clean, really modern and spacious and everything you could ever need. A two minute walk to the beach makes for a very easy sandy walk home before showering in the hot outdoor shower! Ross & Lucy are the most lovely and thoughtful hosts and sharing their own beautiful family home means you really are getting home from home! We were so impressed with the fact there is even children’s plates, bowls, cups and cutlery! Our only negative is that we can’t get availability for next year! We will be sure to visit again soon though. Highly recommend! ****

Fantastic house with all you could want

Baywatch is a beautiful house equipped with everything and more you could want. It has a stunning view of the bay and is very clean and well set out. Only a short walk from the beach and a great location for exploring the rest of the area. we certainly would have no hesitation in recommending it

Superb. Amazing place to Stay.

This was our first family holiday for many years and we had a fantastic time. Ross and Lucy are great hosts and we felt very lucky to have been able to borrow their beautiful home, sadly only for a week. They have provided everything you could possibly want to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The location is spot on, beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean and a very local shop providing fresh fish and other essentials plus restaurants with excellent menus all within walking distance. Bude is just a short distance away and it's fun to take the bus . It is fair to say we wouldn't hestitate to return to Baywatch and all left with house envy.

Stunning Property

Wow is the only words we can use for this fabulous property! Lucy and Ross were so friendly and helpful ! The house is in a fabulous position with wonderful a wonderful view of the bay ! Amazing property in a perfect location

Just back from a week staying at Baywatch in Widemouth Bay and we miss it already. The property had everything we could need to keep a family of five occupied, loads of space for the children and great views for the adults. Ross and Lucy were always on hand to answer any questions. Can't wait to return!

Amazingly stylish house with panoramic sea and countryside views very close to beach!

Lucy and Ross were attentive, welcoming hosts who had thought of everything to make our holiday a memorable one. The house is modern, stylish and perfectly equipped and arranged in a way to suit two families, each with their own luxurious bath/shower rooms. We found the bedrooms to be comfortable and peaceful. The kitchen area is a cook’s dream which is ideal for entertaining in the heart of the home with fabulous sea and countryside views. The large leather sofas were perfect for lounging and relaxing in front of the impressive tv or just taking in the view. We loved the look of the garden and terrace with it’s cool furniture and hanging ‘egg’ chair and it’s swing for the kids. The warm outdoor shower was very welcome after a trip to the beach and the location of the laundry room inside the adjacent back door worked well. There is plenty of private parking on this quiet road. The beach is a hop,skip and a jump to the beach. Heartfelt thanks to Lucy and Ross - This is a 5 * house!

WOW

Wow might be an understatement! Even before we had arrived the owner Lucy had emailed to check if there was anything we needed and said that she would do her best to have the house ready early so we could make the most of our week away. (Unfortunately traffic meant we couldn't get here earlier). We were meet by Ross, Lucy's husband, on arrival and he quickly showed us around the property. On entering the house you can only stop and admire the wonderful view. We have stayed in many properties over the last few years and Baywatch was the most luxurious of them all. Every little thing was though of and this has been the first week where we haven't said I wish we had brought..... The welcome basket, guest access to Netflix, toiletries, hot outdoor shower are just some of the things that make this property more outstanding. Location. Couldn't ask for better. Less than a minute to the beach. Two cafes to choose from for your breakfast, three pubs/ restaurants to eat in and a small local shop all within a couple of minutes walk. You park your car up at the start of the week and you don't need to use it again until you unfortunately have to leave. If you do want to use your car there is more than enough in the local area to help to pass your days. Thank you too Lucy and Ross for the use of their beautiful home it is somewhere we would definitely return to.

Wonderful Home form Home in beautiful Widemouth Bay...

We've just spent a very lovely week in Baywatch. A lovingly redeveloped and stunning property overlooking Widemouth Bay. The owners Ross n Lucy gave us a a very warm welcome from the out. Great directions and things to do were sent ahead of our stay. A wonderful hamper greeted us on arrival (full of local Cornish goodies). The house spectacular, spotless and comfortable throughout. A true home from home. Sumptuous and luxurious this property is too comfortable. When you do manage to tear yourself away, the beach is x5 mins walk with wonderful surf, walks and bars and more. Bude less than 10 mins up the road. If you love Cornwall, as we do then you will love the Cornish hospitality of this lovely couple, their stunning house with its stunning views. A perfect way to spend a week in the most wonderful of places. Enjoy responsibly..

wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit Meerblick

Wir haben als Familie mit drei Kindern eine tolle Urlaubswoche in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus verbracht. Es ist sehr modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet so viel Platz in Haus und Garten zum Wohlfühlen. Auch die Ausstattung des Ferienhauses und die Sauberkeit ist hervorragend. Der wundervolle Blick auf das Meer und die Landschaft hat uns immer wieder erfreut und beeindruckt, bei jedem Wetter und zu jeder Tageszeit. Durch die Nähe zum Strand waren wir oft mehrmals täglich und spontan am Wasser. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus sehr empfehlen!

Fantastic house, perfect location, if you want a holiday in this area then stay here!

This place is amazing - huge open plan living area with everything you could need and all mod cons, 4 good size bedrooms cleverly split into 2 separate sections of the house making it perfect for 2 families...and then there is the balcony off the lounge with uninterrupted spectacular sea views and the surrounding countryside too. With just a 2 minute walk to a sandy beach plus a good pub right on your doorstep and only a 5 minute drive to Bude its in a great location too. Add to this helpful friendly owners and this really is the perfect place to stay. It’s faultless. Quite simply, if you are looking for a holiday in this area then book Lucy’s house. I can guarantee you won’t regret it!
