East Woolley Barn is cosy and peaceful, perfectly located to explore North Devon and North Cornwall. The Barn has everything you would need and the hosts are very welcoming and helpful with suggestions of things to do and see. The Barn was spotlessly clean and well heated making for a very relaxing and comfortable stay.

Our stay at the barn for couples in Bude could not have been more delightful. It is in a quiet location but very close to the spectacular coastal sights and the coastal path in North Cornwall and North Devon. There are also several walking loops right from the residence around the nearby countryside. It is an excellent spot for birdwatching and relaxing. It is also within a 60-90 minute drive from Tintagel, Dartmoor National Park, and Exeter, in case you wish to venture further. But you will not run out of things to do nearby. Riki was a superb host, providing a wealth of information on nearby sites and communicating promptly. The barn cottage is immaculate and well-appointed. I cannot think of anything I would change about the facility or its environment. We would stay there again at the first opportunity and will recommend it to friends.

Communication was excellent with Riki and we were made to feel welcome from the start. Upon arrival, Riki greeted us and showed us around the barn where to find everything. It was equipped with everything we needed and more. We had a lovely welcome pack including biscuits, local honey, organic apple juice and milk. All were good quality products. The barn is next to the farm house, however you do have privacy and a lovely seating area outside. There are also extra garden chairs available. The bed is super comfy and we slept very well every night. The bathroom was lovely with a good shower. It was a great base to explore other areas with Bude beach approximately 20 minutes away. There is lots of information for local and beyond areas. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend staying here.

Everything you need is right here . Perfect location for exploring Cornwall. Excellent accommodation the hosts cannot do enough for you . I come back year after year because it’s a lovely cottage to stay in . I will be back ! Thank you Rikki.

There is a reason why I keep coming back to Cosy barn I simply love everything about it. I honestly can’t fault it . Location is perfect the barn itself is spotlessly clean , comfortable and as the title says cosy. Riki and her husband are great hosts . Look forward to returning here next year .

From the moment we checked in, Riki was great, so helpful and welcomed us like she had know us for years, we felt at home. The barn was beautiful, clean, really large, the most comfortable bed!!! Everything we needed was there. The welcome pack was great, milk, eggs, bread and cookies. The barn was ideally placed for visiting the North of Cornwall and North Devon, we visited so many places in the 2wks we were there. I would highly recommend this barn to everyone, and hopefully we will return again.

Myself and my fiancé stayed here for our third anniversary for 7 days. Riki and Martin were brilliant hosts, gave us lots of info ahead of time about the check in process as well as places to visit and recommendations for restaurants. The property was very clean and well maintained, and the location was wonderful; just a short drive to the coast. Everything I wanted or needed to know was in a very handy booklet in the property, and if anything else was outstanding Riki and Martin were easily contactable for further info. Thank you very much for such a wonderful trip!

I’ve stayed here many times and will come back. As I’ve said in past reviews this is a great place to stay . The barn is spotless and there is everything you need here . The weather hasn’t been kind during my stay but that aside I had a great two weeks here. It really is a good location. Riki is so helpful and friendly. I hope to come back on September and will definitely be here next February. Richard 😊

Due to personal circumstances we were unable to complete our trip. However we are so indebted to Riki for her kindness understanding and timely communication. It meant so much when we were going through tough times that she put herself out in such a selfless manner. I couldn’t recommend her enough. Such a breath of fresh air to find such a caring soul.

Rikey and Martin’s little haven was perfect. We stayed just three nights but was perfectly located for long walks along the beach with the dog, which he loved! Although small, the property was fitted out to a pretty high spec and very comfortable - just like home-from-home! The hosts were amazing and Rikey gave us lots of ideas of where to go during the day and where to eat if we wanted! They live behind the property but were not invasive at all! We would definitely stay here again. We can’t wait to go back!!

Had such an amazing week here Riki and Martin are such lovely hosts nothing was too much trouble know lots of knowledge about the surrounding area telling us the best places to visit. The barn is home from home everything you need for a pleasant stay. Bude was such a lovely little town to visit about a 20min drive from the barn so you do need a car if you stay here as there isnt a pub or shop in walking distance, if you are looking for a cosy retreat to recharge your batteries this is definitely the place to stay would well recommend it, would definitely visit again.

The pictures of the property on Vrbo do not do the place justice. Riki is the best host we’ve ever stayed with, she was always in hand if needed and kitted the place out for everything you could possibly need for your stay. The location is remote and perfect to wind down and relax. We ventured out daily with Bude and Sandymouth Beach only 15minutes away (great for the dog). Wonderful break - shame the sun didn’t make an appearance.

It was absolutely perfect. Riki is a great host, the barn is lovingly and cosily decorated, very clean and you will find everything you need. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom has a modern shower and towel warmer.There is everything from a washing machine, dryer and ironing board. There is a seat in front of the door from where you can watch the birds at the feeding station. Riki has a lot of information ready in a folder and is also personally available for any question and a nice conversation. We also had very nice e-mail contact with her before our trip. I would come back anytime to stay here. For us it was one of the most beautiful places we have been to, the nature is wonderful and the people are very friendly. Driving was a bit of a challenge, but manageable due to the considerate way of driving in Cornwall. There are so many beautiful places in the vicinity, and Riki's map is a good help to find everything. We would have liked to stay longer as there was so much to discover and we felt very comfortable and welcome. Thank you Riki and Martin for a lovely stay with you.

Rikki and Martin have thought of everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well equipped, the furniture comfortable and parking is a breeze. The washer was a bonus. The property is located less than a kilometre from the A39, so you can head off to explore the region.
