"Loved the location. Felt isolated, but close to highway access and all the near major towns. Lots of cutlery and kitchen options including blender, oyster shucker, and BBQ. Patio had seating for all. Separate bedroom for the kids with their own bathroom on their own floor was a lifesaver for any parent. As a parent, the washer and dryer was a huge help. "Wonderful stay at this location , Tom was truly an excellent host and has a perfect home for our annual trip to the island. the home had everything we needed to accommodate a larger group size and plenty of space for us to organize our day field trips. The hot tub was certainly most welcome after long days along with the patio and propane fire place. Tom really cares about the wellbeing of his guests and goes above and beyond to provide a good experience. hands down the best trip ever...

"A lovely house in a very nice and quiet location. The house was very clean, spacious and well decorated. We had everything we needed. It was conveniently located for the places we wanted to visit. The recommendations from the owner were very good. The kids loved the mini golf and the Splash park in Parksville. We also visited Coombs, Horne Lake caves and Englishman river Falls. It was nice to be so close to the Little Qualicum Falls, we could even go to swim. A very lovely place"

"Amazing location, inmediate and private access to the lake with gorgeous views. The room was nice, however the carpet could use to be cleaned as you can tell it hasn't been washed for a while. Thefood at the restaurant was really good, however they have very few options to chose from. They closed it one day due to lack of staff and it's usually just open for dinner after 5pm. They should have it available from early morning since it's the only place to have something decent to eat besides the coffee store next to the hotel where they only have sandwiches. Staff in general are super nice. The deck to the lake could also use some renovations. "
