"We booked the room thinking we had access to the spa as all photos showed it, but when we got there we didn’t have access to most spa areas, which were a premium service on top of the room cost (over £250/night). The room was spacious but it’s old fashioned and didn’t feel like a 4 star hotel. Disappointing."

"The room was very clean, bed was very comfortable. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Food was really well presented and delicious. Facilities at the hotel were excellent. We had a lovely stay, everything you need for a relaxing break away in a lovely part of the New Forest."

"Pub and accommodation was lovely. Really classy yet quirky. Great staff, spacious rooms and stunning dinner. But (randomly) I would go back purely to have their bacon breakfast roll again - hands down the best ever! And mine was gluten free. Simple things but epic! "

"We stayed 3 days in the room with the private terrace and hot tub which could be enjoyed even in the middle of winter. The pub itself was very welcoming with very good lunch and evening meals and an excellent breakfast. Dogs were also made welcome with an outside area exclusively for them, but it is a shame not all dog owners apprecited this and were not responsible for cleaning up after them. If in the summertime should the pub or the very nice large public gardens get crowded all residents...
