Weekend getaway

I really enjoyed our stay and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Our host maintained contact throughout our stay to insure we had everything we needed.Overall it was a great experience!

Great stay!

The cabin is located close enough to downtown Bryson City, but far enough away to feel like you’re on a mountain getaway! The home was clean and decorated for Christmas, which was a nice touch! Kelsey was responsive and easy to work with! We had a blast on the Polar Express. We would love to stay again!

Weekend Polar Express Birthday Trip

Perfect Get Away Spot

Beautiful home with stunning views. Seamless check in instructions. Home is perfectly located near downtown Bryson City and the GSMR. Home was clean with all the amenities needed. Would recommend 10/10. We also appreciated the clear communication with the owners and availability to contact them as well if needed.

Family Polar Express Trip

Overlook Point was perfect for our family get away. For years we have started the Christmas season with a trip to Western North Carolina. This was our first time renting a house instead of using a hotel. It was wonderful! The layout of the house allowed our family to spend quality time together without being couped up in a single room. The kitchen was well equipped, so we were able to enjoy homemade kettle corn while watching Christmas movies. Beautiful location that was private and quiet. Beautiful Mountain Getaway

House was beautiful, cozy and everything described in the listing. Very comfortable for 5 friends. Spectacular views. Owner was an amazing host from start to finish, especially gracious helping us out during hurricane Helene. She went above and beyond to help us navigate the situation. She even went to the extent of speaking to our family members back home, and checked on us to make sure we arrived home safely. We can't wait to go back! 5 Stars is not enough for this VRBO!

Excellent Stay

The cabin was great, the owner was so friendly in all our interactions. We had some trouble with the Internet the first night there and they quickly worked on resolving the issue. Bryson City was a cute little town and it's only a 20 minute drive to Deep Creek. The kids had fun with the loft and the views from the deck were amazing. We all agreed we were so glad to stay in a less developed area than somewhere like Gatlinburg. Would 100% recommend for a trip to the Smokies.

Private Beautiful Mountain Retreat

Our family truly enjoyed our weekend getaway in this beautiful home. It has all the amenities you need and more! From coffee on the back porch overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains to evening wine at the fire pit or the hot tub, it was simply wonderful. And the homeowners reach out to assure you have everything you need - the communication was great. We would definitely return to this home if we do another trip to this area.

Perfect Family Getaway

My family and I (adult children) just returned from a weeklong stay at this beautiful mountaintop home. The cabin was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed to prepare meals and unwind. Our favorites were enjoying quiet mornings on the back porch over coffee while looking out at the gorgeous mountain views and relaxing in the hot top after long days of hiking. We loved visits from the hummingbirds, bunny, and fireflies. Kelsey was very communicative and everything was smooth. Thank you so sharing your vacation home with us!

Great secluded place to relax

The place was great overall. The back porch is rather large with an outstanding view. I imagine this is the spot most people are going to hangout and gather at. The rooms are all a good size and the loft is a usable space. Although not ideal for adults, it worked out no problem. We’ve been coming to this area for over 20 years to ride all the roads and we would stay here again, no questions asked. A couple things to know. The driveway is step and its gravel and the pictures do a good job at showing this. If you ride a motorcycle and you are not comfortable going up and down, this might not be for you. I’ve been riding for over 20 years and it didn’t bother me, but not everyone feels the same. The other thing to note is when you punch in the gate code to enter the neighborhood, the gate opens towards your vehicle. None of this is bad, just “food for thought.”

Lovely house with a beautiful view

The house was clean and spacious for our party of 4 adults. The deck and view of the mountains was just beautiful, and we enjoyed the comfort of the hot tub after days of hiking in the area. The Bryson City area has good access to hiking, water activities and entry to Smoky Mountains National Park.

Hope to do it again. Sometime later this year if possible.

Was as presented. Close to everything. The lavatory drain in the master bedroom is slow. Other than that no problems. Comfortable and clean. Hope we left it in acceptable condition. A very nice place!
