We had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental. The mountain views were absolutely stunning and made every morning feel special. The location was incredibly convenient—close to everything we needed while still feeling peaceful and tucked away. Roasting s’mores with my kids and relaxing in the hot tub at sunset were special memories. The home itself was spotless and very well cared for, which made it easy to relax right away. What truly set this experience apart, though, was the kindness of the owner. When our Jeep broke down and had to be towed to a repair shop, the owner Steven went out of his way to give us a lift back to the vacation home. That level of generosity and care is rare and deeply appreciated.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

In the words of my three year old grandson, “This is the best house ever!”. We were 100% pleased with the house, the owner’s easy directions, and especially the patio area with the most peaceful view for perfect relaxation. A Little Piece of Heaven certainly described this property to a T. Beyond being spotless, beds were comfortable, and everything is in good shape and working order. Steven and Sue truly kept visitors in mind with all the extra touches like labeling the light switches. Thank you for opening your home to our family for a lovely stay.

The place was very nice and clean! It was very peaceful and the kids really enjoyed the kids room! We will definitely come back. The only thing was a bit annoying were the stank bugs flying around. There were several but I guess they were trying to get out of the cold weather as well! I definitely give this place 5/5 and the owners were very easy to communicate with! Love love loved our stay!

We had a great time at Peace of Heaven! Our family loved staying in the cabin on the mountain with the incredible views and wonderful amenities. Everything was easy to find and the beds were comfy and inviting. Our children loved the bunk beds and selection of toys and we loved the highchair and kid friendly dishes and utensils. We will definitely return if find ourselves in the area again. (Unrelated, the Polar Express was a great time for our kids and the train museum was a hit, too! The hosts were very helpful in pointing us toward some other experiences in the area that were kid friendly too!) We definitely recommend a stay at Peace of Heaven! You won’t regret it!

We were so lucky to find this property! It's rare to find somewhere that offers a one night stay and that's all we needed for the Polar Express trip. The location is great- out of the way with a great view and no neighbor noise or light pollution, but still close to town. great size for us to bring the kids and grand parents for the train. The review asked about skiing.. I gave it a 5 but didn't apply. Just didn't want to doc stars for that.

Excellent property with a wonderful view. Plenty of space and very clean. We did have to use 4WD to navigate the steep driveway in rainy weather. Overall excellent experience and we will book again!

We were blown away by the beauty of Peace of Heaven and it's surroundings. This beautiful cabin is stunning indoors and out. Our hosts were so nice, and even called us personally when we had a question. This was my first experience with a VRBO property, but it won't be my last. This was far superior to any other vacation rental platform I've used previously. I would give thia property 10 stars if I could.

We had a wonderful stay at Peace of Heaven! The house was immaculately clean and by far the best kept vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in. The amenities were fantastic — we especially enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit in the evenings. What really made the experience unforgettable were the stunning mountain views right from the property. Highly recommend this place and would love to come back!

Great!

We enjoyed our stay! House was clean and as described.Outside: View was amazing! We really appreciated the grassy area and enjoyed roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. The wraparound deck was perfect for the evenings after a day of hiking. A few more comfortable chairs would have been nice or maybe a porch swing...the rocking chairs don't rock very well on the decking.Kitchen: Kitchen was well stocked (we cooked breakfast and dinner each day) and had everything we needed...even included a few pantry items (salt, pepper, oil) which kept us from having to buy. Bedrooms: Beds were comfortable and the view from the loft is great. Be aware, the primary bedroom is upstairs in the loft so you'll have to lug your suitcases up and down.Bathrooms: bathrooms were spacious and included bath soaps/shampoos. A couple extra towels would have been nice.Amenities: There is a washer and dryer but you'll need to bring your own detergent.Miscellaneous: The description does mention that the drive up to the house is steep, and that's no joke. We were driving an SUV but not 4x4 and it was a bit of a challenge each time we went up. The first half is fine but the last half is very steep and a bit windy. We had to slow down for a neighbor near the road one day as we were on that last half (didn't want to throw stones on him) and ended up having to back down the drive a bit to get enough momentum to finish the climb. Just something to be aware of ;-)

Had the most wonderful week. The cabin is secluded and beautifully decorated with everything you could wish for and more. Great location with so much to do and see in the area a week wasn’t enough!The owners are extremely helpful and respond immediately to any query.Hope to visit again soon

The house was great! Everything was clean and new. The views were amazing especially at night and in the morning from the master bedroom. The jacuzzi felt great after traveling all day. Will highly recommend and most likely be back in the future!
