Terrible experience, beautiful place
Pros: It is a beautiful cabin to stay at and the views are nice. There is a good assortment of pots/pans/plates provided.
Cons: Before our trip, we had to sign a rental lease agreement for the property even though we stayed only 2 nights. There were many things in this rental agreement that did not apply to our stay such as getting our deposit back and providing a lot of personal information you don't normally have to for a VRBO stay. Upon arrival, we had to stand outside the property for over an hour after check-in was supposed to be because the property owner did not provide the code and would not return messages/calls all day. Second, please be aware that the driveway turn in is very tight and steep. Our car bottomed out on the gravel. Later, when we did receive the "welcome package email and code" they did state this. Be aware: Do not use the dryer unless you want your clothes snagged. There was a piece missing inside the tumbler and it has a sharp edge. There is also no wifi, even though it was advertised. When we inquired about the wifi so that we could plan a hike the next day, we received a rude response, even though we tried following the instructions provided. Lastly, we did not see the ping pong as advertised.
We were excited to stay here, but the property owner made the experience horrible. This is a nice area and there are other properties nearby that we wish we would have stayed at instead that would also be a cheaper price.
