Very nicely designed hotel. Although the corridors at 2nd and 3rd floors seemed dark and eerie, the bedrooms were beautiful and glad that there was a bath tub during our stay as it was pretty cold outside.

The first receptionist was terrible , she doesn’t care about guest comfort. The family rooms are in a second building and has to use stairs, this is a wrong advertising. Until we Getz back from the tours like 6pm, Aa new receptionist gave us 2 single room with elevator and we could have a nice stay. Unless you have no heavy bags this hotel woth it, they don’t have porter

You can hear outside noise from the room. Lots of noise especially on fri/ sat night. Hallways are dark. Wish they had a coffee/tea pot in room instead of on 1st floor.

Disappointed!
We didn’t stay at the hotel. Unfortunately on check-in we were told our room and all the Triple and Family Rooms were accross the road in a seperate building. Even the Guy on Reception had trouble finding the access door. The door to the building is hidden under the Canopy of a Cafe/Restaurant. We had 27 steps to climb to our room 411 on the first floor. The bedroom was hot and we were unable to open the windows as these were serving as secondary glazing! At night it was noisy! The front door could be heard each time it closed, other guests could be heard going to their rooms and the sound of bottles being moved. (Hence the need for the hotel to provide each guest with ear plugs! The bathroom was a small compact shower room. On the plus side with a very good powerful shower!! The layout could be useful ie Walking into a kitchenette area with a sofa bed and having a seperate bedroom. We however felt isolated from the security of staying at a hotel with a 24hr Reception. Even the phone wasn’t plugged in. Location to the Square was good - 5 minute walk.
Entrance under the canopy!

Charming hotel
Amazing stay! Such a cute, well decorated hotel at a reasonable price. Perfectly located near Grand Place. The hotel staff are kind and accommodating. The only issue we had was an unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom pipes and drain. Maid staff do a great job cleaning and freshening every day, but the smell of the pipes indicates the entire system probably needs to be cleaned out. I would absolutely stay again though. Go find the speakeasy bar!

Excellent choice for a long weekend
It took a while to choose a hotel for a long weekend in Brussels, after reading reviews we decided to choose this one. The room was perfect for the weekend, as was the location. You could hear some noise outside, but that was if you really focused on it and it never interfered with our sleep. Easy to access from the Eurostar on the metro. The staff were extremely helpful and we also were lucky enough to be checked in early. Luggage storage was great. The breakfast buffet was great too for the price.
