St Simons Island

This cozy cottage is nestled in the most idyllic location, directly across the street from the Atlantic Ocean made for a lovely long weekend. The cottage has spacious bedrooms, living room, and a well appointed kitchen. The house faces the ocean with two perfect rockers for listening to the ocean while having your morning coffee, or enjoying an afternoon beverage. The cottage is located within walking distance to the pier, the lighthouse, and many adorable shops and restaurants. Could not imagine a better place to stay, and we have been to the island several times.

Prrfect

Easy and complete information about place and entrance. Clean. Everything I needed and more was there. Very easy walk to the beach. My favorite spot was the screened in porch sitting in the rocking chair with coffee watching the sunrise. Quiet neighborhood. Restaurants really close. Loved my stay. I can only give 5 stars but I would give many more. Hope I can come again loved it

Absolutely loved it

This cottage was fantastic and charming. Yes, charming means older, but it had everything needed and listed. Everything was clean, convenient, and we were in need of nothing. The communication was the best I have experienced with vrbo with questions, directions, ect answered before I needed to ask. The cottage is incredibly close to the beach. We will most definitely be staying there again.

SSI spring getaway

We loved the proximity to the beach! Listening to the ocean while relaxing on the front porch is a pleasure too. We (2 adults and 2 kids) had a very enjoyable stay and we hope to come back someday. My intention isn't to nitpick the house but as a review, we felt the need to mention some issues that we noticed. Access to the second bedroom is through the master bedroom. There are 4 outside doors but only one can be opened with the key. A functional lock box would be a simple solution to having to keep up with the house key. The air conditioning is accomplished by two window units which can be a bit noisy at times. I probably should have picked up on some clues in the description but the house is a duplex. We commonly seek out a single dwelling since we are bringing two children.

Quaint & Classic

This is an older house that is split into 2 units. The ocean-side unit's "oldness" has been updated from time to time to keep it very comfortable, but without trying to "modernize" the place. You get a very nostalgic feeling staying here, very different than a high-rise condo. It is more private. Good experience-

Perfect until our last night

Comfortable home just 1 minute walk to the beach. Our only problem was the smoke/carbon monoxide detector that beeped all night our last night, so no sleep our last night. the owner says that happens now and then...
