Perfect for what we needed

The houses was exactly as the listing shows. The furniture has some stains and the comforters need a good wash but everything else was exactly as it was shown! Perfect location!

Great beach access

The property was clean and comfortable for our party of four. Easy access to beach due to being next to a beach access. The part of the beach next to this house was far enough away from the hotel crowds to where most of the time it was nearly a private beach.

Much better location than they describe.

It is literally a five foot walk from the backyard to the boardwalk taking you directly to the beach. The beach is available almost all day. It was a perfect location.

needs an update

The location of the property was excellent and we loved the layout of the house, the backyard, the peace and quiet of the neighborhood, and the very close proximity to the beach. We were not crazy about the loose floor tiles, the master bath tub that wouldn't drain, so you were standing ankle deep in water for your entire shower, the tiny stall shower in the bathrooms of the other two bedrooms, and the fact that we could only randomly get the door to unlock so we had to leave a back door unlocked every time we left the house. All in all we loved our stay but would not rent this particular house again unless some updates were made.

Clean and spacious

We enjoyed our stay at Always Turtle Crawl. We saw dolphins and a shark right from our beach. The house was clean and there was plenty of privacy for everyone.

Magical, Relaxing and Healing

The house was perfect for our gathering. It had everything we needed. The setting was perfect. We could sit in n the backyard and listen to the mesmerizing sounds of the waves crashing while enjoying the ocean breezes. We had. daily visits from the local deer and we witnessed the hatching of 4 baby birds who had nested in a bike cup holder. Additionally, the free bikes were a welcomed surprise! It couldn’t have been better. This was our first trip to Jekyll Island and we can’t wait to come back!

Title Crawl Relaxation

We enjoyed our time at Always Turtle Crawl. The location is great and the shared living spaces were great for our group of 5. The bathrooms are small especially the two showers. We encountered one hiccup because we opted to bring our own linens only to find that they had replaced one queen bed with a queen. The management company brought us sheets for the bed quickly. This isn’t the fanciest beach house, but it’s centrally located and has a good lay out. We loved the deer walking through the yard.

Really liked the house and location

The board walk is just beside the back end of the property, so trips to the beach are quick and easy, though you can't walk the beach at high tide. No real complaints about the house or location. Would definitely stay here again and use Jekyll Realty.

Wonderful, relaxing trip to Jekyll Island. Home is clean and very well appointed.

We enjoyed the beach and bike rides. Also had fun watching deer stroll through the property.

Great location... That's about it

The house decor and appliances are very out of date. The interior and furniture needs to be updated very badly. The dishes in the cabinet all had to be washed before being used. The tenant before us looks like they only rinsed off the dishes they used and put them back into the cabinet. Which leads me into the next point. There are no linens provided, none. This is not highlighted on the property listing. We didn't find out until after we booked that this was the case. This is a big deal as it requires even more to be packed in and out. The cleaning policy upon checkout should be changed as most rental properties do not require leaving the house with having dishes cleaned and put back away into cabinets. Dishes should be started on the dishwasher when leaving. Linens should be provided and then cleaning staff should come and deep clean after departure as well as handle the linens and dishes. The location was great. The beach was right outside the house and we could hear the ocean all day. The beach was clean and fairly secluded. There were little ride pools that had wildlife that our kids loved. The waves at high tide were perfect for boogie boarding!

Great location!!!

My family and I were looking for a quick beach getaway and this was just the spot! It is located VERY close to a beach access point making it very easy to take chairs, toys, and little ones back and forth to the beach! Even during high tide, we were able to still have beach access! We relaxed, found lots of shells and sand dollars and most of all, had so much fun!
