Great Stay lake McConaughy

Wonderful clean home with plenty of room and fantastic views. Home is well marked with instructions and has all the things you need. Home is a bit remote but worth the drive.

Perfect Location

The house was so beautiful with everything we needed. The garage was fun to sit in and just talk and drink. The location is perfect and we were able to leave the boat right by the boat dock at Van's just 4 miles away.

A well organized, clean lake house with an excellent view.

The property is off the beaten path, and as listed has a steep gravel driveway. Excellent view of the lake. The path down to the beach allowed us to take a pickup down to access our boat. We put our boat in at Vans or at divers bay (free entry). Home is well organized with many amenities.

Annual Lake Mac Family Trip

We had a blast at this VRBO. It was a great set up for our 2 families and our wives were blown away with the organization and labels everywhere. The house was clean and decorated very nicely. Short trip down to the water in our Jeeps. The views were amazing, Van's was amazing (the service to drop and pull out the boat was very nice), the water was a lot calmer this year than our previous 5 years so we had a blast!

Great view from lakehouse

Driveway description was a bit deceiving. It is steep and narrow and can not take your boat up to the house. Had to leave it at the bottom of the hill and pray nothing was taken during the night. House is also a bit off the beaten path. Had to drive a ways to the boat launch. Could have also used a few more towels. Overall the house was very clean and well maintained.

Beautiful lake house

We enjoyed our stay with kids and grandkids at this beautiful lake house. The home is well cared for, clean and family friendly. The suggestion of using four wheel drive to get to the beach was helpful and we had no problems. We even helped to tow out a local visitor while at the beach since we had four wheel drive. The beach sands are beautiful. If you walk to the beach, it is about a ten minute walk. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets from the deck as well as wonderful views of the lake, wildlife and a couple of lightening storms. The big table made for fun meals and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils you need to prepare meals. Thank you for providing such a peaceful and relaxing lake lookout for a getaway!

Great house and great location

We highly enjoyed our stay! The house is perfect with an amazing view of the lake and was fully stocked with anything we could ever need. Location was also excellent with easy access to the private beach which is great with kids. Will absolutely be staying again!

Great View of Lake Mac

Property was beautiful very clean and organized and had everything we needed. Lovely accommodations and a quick drive down to the beach and also to Vans to put the boat in. Also not a bad drive to lewellen for the annual Rodeo and Barn dance.

This was a nice stay. From the pictures it appears to be very close to the water, however for us that was not the case but the water level of the lake was very low. Nice clean house and owner was helpful and pleasant

Stunning!!

We loved staying at Lookout Lake house! It is newly renovated with gorgeous views! Everything was clean, new and beautifully decorated. The owners left no details out, providing shampoo, soap, trash bags and even ziplocks. They were also very quick to respond when we had questions. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Amazing!!!

My siblings and I rented the house for our youngest sister’s birthday and it was so great!!! Loved having the large table with room for everyone and plenty of sleeping spaces. We personally didn’t mind the drive to the swim beach bc the views were stunning and it was nice and quiet and relaxing! Would HIGHLY recommend this house to people! Will book again!!!

Nice property with great view of the lake.

Everything went well with this property. It was will equipped and clean. Great views of the lake from the property. Close to a nice golf course. A little travel is required to get to the more popular beach areas on the eastern side of lake McConaughy.
