"I love that sunset is the farthest cabin, if you want privacy it’s just a short walk from the main area but it’s a bit more secluded. The cabin is set up nicely and the bed is super comfortable. The cabin holds a lot of heat so don’t worry about getting cold, they do have extra blankets and an extra electric heater if you need it. The out house was clean and probably 6 feet from the cabin itself, there’s an outside light that lights everything up nicely if you have to go at night. The heater in...

"This property was a lucky last minute find. Only 15 minutes from UMD, where my son attends. Can safely have windows open overnight and let the Lake Superior waves lull you to sleep. It is a basement apartment and home owners were not present, so I can’t speak on that. Very nice patio with grill as well as wood burning chiminea, both of which we used and enjoyed immensely. Thank you for sharing your property."

"We had an amazing time! The cabin is gorgeous and well equipped for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the lake and using the canoes! The water is so clear and was very refreshing. Mike was a great host and responded quickly when an issue arose so that it didn’t affect our stay. Would 1000% recommend and hope to one day be back!"

"We had a great stay in Two Harbors. Great view of Two Harbors boat traffic, and a short walk to the lighthouse and where the ships get loaded with Taconite. We saw the Algoma Conveyor and Edwin H. Gott come into port. There were lots of beaches nearby for Agate hunting. The house was very comfortable and clean, and the owners were very easy to work with. "

"You’ve experienced woods, wildlife, waves and Lake Superior all in one location? Here is where I was able to unplug, meditate, breathe, and enjoy nature. Porcupine trail let me practice the art of Forest Bathing and led me to serene views of Lake Superior and its serenity of waves. Definitely a great way to relax after a busy school year. "My husband and I were in Barnes for a friend’s birthday on 4th of July weekend, found Dana and Greg’s place, and loved it. They are so friendly and wonderfully accommodating. Plus Sophie is the best doggie greeter in Wisconsin. Thank you for the amazing fire pit and great tour of the lake!! You guys are the best. See you soon."

"We had a wonderful time staying at the Amnicon lodge! Everything exceeded our expectations, and it was a great place to relax and enjoy the nature. The one thing I would say is that the bathroom is a shared space with the other cabins on the property. I did not see this listed in the description, but it wasn’t really an issue for us; just good information for future guests!"
