"My spouse and I decided to stay further outside of the city visiting Montreal for extra peace and quiet. It was nice to wake up and drink our coffee next to the lake. The home is well-appointed without being flashy. The beds were firm and comfortable—plenty of amenities including a fully appointed kitchen and cookware. The host was prompt and attentive, offering us to stay past checkout if needed. 10/10 would recommend."

"My husband and I stayed at this really lovely stone house for about 8 days in April and it enjoyed it very much. It was perfect time to sit by a fire and enjoy the peace and quiet. The hosts were top notch and very available, they even had starter wood delivered to us very quickly. I'm sure it must be great in the winter and summer months."

"Place was very clean and well maintained. Great layout and functional. Well stocked with the basics plus some. Heating was a little finicky, was set to automatic and got cold. Once we figured it out and set the thermostats to manual mode it was better. Spa in the winter was nice, but the amount of chlorine was overbearing."

"We really enjoyed our stay and were able to really disconnect from the everyday city hustle. Kids had a blast and kept busy playing all the games In the basement. Chalet was very well furnished with all the necessities… coffee toilet paper etc. Place was also very clean. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks again Robert for being a great host!"

"The description was accurate but didn’t fully capture the beauty of the grounds and surrounding woods in the snow. The home is very well kept and clean and there was tons for my children to do, including an outdoor skating rink and indoor pool less than 5 minutes away at the reception center. They did a great job plowing and clearing the roads and driveway quickly after a snowfall too. We LOVED the fireplace. House was plenty warm even in very cold weather and lots of comfy beds. "Beautiful cottage about 15 mins from Lachute. Had a friend get together. The group loved all the different activities available on the property. A couple of notes that might help others... The floors are creaky as others have mentioned. Additionally we were not aware there is no drinking water on site, which is good to know in advance."
