"Unfortunately our booked apartment accommodation was unavailable due to a gas leak. However, we were moved to a nice double room and given free breakfast to make up for this. We were also offered 50 % of dinner but the available dining slots were extremely limited so couldn't use that. It was a very comfy hotel, with a great shower, a pleasant mile walk to Keswick. I'd definitely stay again"

"We loved this property. It was perfect for us plus our small dog. The outside space was lovely with it's enclosed garden and small wood beside. Views over to Blencathra were stunning and offered us an ideal spot to just chill out especially after some walking in the hills.Difficult to tear yourself away but will definitely return."

"Beautifully situated house in a beautiful area! Equipped with all conveniences. We were pleasantly surprised by the outdoor space/garden next to and behind the house.Highly recommended for a wonderful stay in Lake District.The partly unpaved road to the house is fabulous but bumpy. Despite doable, even with a lower car, so don't let that put you off!We loved our stay and are inspired by the nature in this beautiful area. "Beautiful cottage on the edge of the Lake District. Great location as it’s a short drive to most popular Lake District attractions. Stunning scenery and spacious cottage make for a relaxing getaway. Kev welcomed us when we arrived and recommended places to visit including the local pub for pizza which was lovely! 100% recommend this cottage for anybody looking to visit the Lake District. The hot tub was a luxurious bonus which helped us relax after a long day of hiking. "
