All the staff were so kind and accommodating, and the food was delicious and generous portions. Only place open for dinner in the evening so be sure to reserve! Highly highly recommend. "

The cottage was very homely and welcoming with some great attention to detail. The kitchen was well equipped with quality appliances and accessories. We were grateful for the generous welcome pack which came in useful. Highly recommended. "

"The cottage is extremely well kitted out, with a top class tea room and small general store in the village, just 40 metres away. There's no garden but enough room to sit outside at the front and have an evening drink. We didn't try the pub but it's worth looking at the reviews for it 😊 Fantastic walking from the door, and if the weather is good you can even swim in the river across the fields."

"We enjoyed our stay here, the property has everything you need. The views from the sitting room and bedroom are spectacular, the bed was very comfortable.Nice to have smart tv etc. Drying wet clothes and boots was great in the area provided. Overall it felt clean, but the cleaner really does need to look up as there were lots of cobwebs around the ceilings and the light shade on the stairs was thick with dust. The fireplace in the sitting room was a beautiful feature. We stayed in December and...

"right up our street , the landlady is brilliant and wish i got to now her better . and we will go back for another visit ,but have to stay a bit longer. brilliant for walking ,plenty of info inside comfy cottage, felt compleetly chilled when we left and looking forwards to another visit ."
