"Kathy is a wonderful host. The apartment is beautifully decorated especially if you appreciate arts and crafts and/or art nouveau. It was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities you could want. The best part is the restaurant downstairs! La Rambla is my favorite restaurant in McMinnville, and that's saying something as there are many very good ones in town. "

"The Cedarwood Retreat is exactly that: a retreat. It is very well appointed, everything you would need while away from home is there for your use. Plenty of towels, an iron and ironing board, all the kitchen basics. Every detail was thought of and much appreciated by our family who had traveled from California for a family wedding. "

"This property is awesome and very unique. From the large indoor pool with diving board, to the old time cassette player, to the beautiful views. Our group of 12 people slept very comfortably (almost every bedroom has its own bathroom) and had a lot of fun. Only negative is that the electrical system was not fully working throughout the house. Once that is fixed I would recommend this property to any large group (friends, family, mixture of friends and family) finding a place to stay."

"This was the perfect stay for a girls trip to the valley. Just a 10 minute ride from downtown Newberg. Plenty of grocery stores in the area. Beautiful views. Beds were super comfortable and we had plenty of space for 6 women. We loved having breakfast each morning on the deck! Definitely recommend. "

"This was a great place to stay. Homey, clean, well-stocked. We loved being on the working hazelnut farm, being able to walk through the orchard both before and after the sweepers came through. Bari was great, leading us through the house when we got there. It's obvious that there's a family connection to the property, and we were just honored to be a part of it. No negatives to report. We also liked Filbert's Farmhouse Kitchen, a 10 minute drive from the house, in Aurora."
