"The resort layout provided great privacy and quiet surroundings. I greatly appreciated the self-check-in/out to the cabin. The cabins and Tee-Pee area shared one shower/restroom area that required an unlock code to use and a $3 deposit for shower use much like a State Park facility. "This is the ideal halfway’ish point between the Redwood Forest, the coastal Highway, and Crater Lake. After many hours in the car traveling down US 101 and then several more hours getting to O’Brien, it was great to sleep in a nice king sized bed in a cabin. "Showers you need to pay for, don’t believe this was noted, also leaving cabins doors open all nite brings in many unwanted bugs and critters, my cabin was infested with ants, all over the Ugg throw they threw inside to make it look cozy. Maybe someone should have checked that out. Also spider webs all over the ceiling and windows. "

"We loved our stay here. This cabin is at the end so it offers a bit more privacy than the others. It was beautifully appointed and had all the basics, as well as coffee pods, creamer and comfy bedding. It does not have a fire pit like the other cabins but we were able to start a small fire in the grill. All in all, it was a wonderful and relaxing stay."

"This place was absolutely perfect for a getaway into the state and national redwood parks! The state park ended up being our favorite. My husband fished the river a short walk from the property and we spent a lot of time enjoying the patio area after a long day of hiking."

"The house is comfortable and clean. The hot tub was heated and we would have enjoyed it longer except for a gale wind that picked up the cover and blew it right over our heads and over the deck railing! Amazingly, even with strong winds all night, the little rubber ducky was still in the hot tub in the morning! We would rent it again in nicer weather! The way Vrbo does the messages between the owner and renter leaves much to be desired. Very inefficient and frustrating at times."

"Watch out for the coffee table! Beautiful! But ... I banged into it several times. It really is beautiful! I want it! But I don't want to bang into it. :) Our stay was great otherwise. Once we read that the central heater was NOT the heating for the unit but the little heaters. They worked wonderfully! Hot tub was wonderful, even in the rain. All else was just fine. "

"We were very happy with our lodging. It was very comfortable and relaxing. We did not cook, but everything was there to use if we did. Okay, we made coffee. we were only there for 2 nights.
