Awesome place
This place is awesome! We have a large family and had plenty of room. The place was clean, had everything we needed and then some. The view of the lake and sunsets were great. This house is designed for entertaining a large crowd and we highly recommend it! Thank you to the Sullivan family for sharing you house we will definitely be back!

Wish we stayed longer
This house was awesome, works great for large groups or smaller groups if you want spread out. The patio, yard and lake access are even more awesome!!! Great location on the lake with beautiful sunsets and views. Eric did a fantastic job answering questions, preparing us for the trip and handling our needs throughout the weekend. Family trip
There were 21 of us and we never felt like we were on top of each other. Plenty of rooms to spread out in. Property was clean, had everything we needed. Property owner was easy to communicate with and always answered promptly.

Perfect for mutiple families
House was perfect for our family vacation. Ample space for 20 of us. We enjoyed having plenty of room to gather together and to spread out. Balconies were wonderful for sitting and visiting.

Family Reunion
All of my children and grandchildren got together for the first time for a much needed vacation. The house and location were absolutely beautiful. The house was the perfect size, especially the bunk room. There was so much space! We even had the lake to ourselves. The neighbors were also very friendly and helpful! Eric was very friendly easy to contact, and the instructions were clear and precise.I highly recommend this location.

Great Lake House
Had a wonderful stay at this well-apportioned lake home. The property had everything we needed and more. Would highly recommend this home to large families and friend groups who want a fun gathering place with amazing sunsets over the lake.

Great communication with the property owner
House was clean when we got there. The house is set up very nicely to accommodate large groups. Pots, Pans, BBQ pits, and propane were all onsite and ready to use. The back sitting area has a great view of the lake and also set up very nicely. They even had ropes attached to trees to be able to keep our boats in the water and tie them up.

Great Trip
Great house for a big group! House was very nice and the outside areas were great. Whole group had a blast and caught plenty of fish. Would highly recommend for a family get together or a group fishing trip.

Great Family Weekend
We had a great time at Eric's home. The home was perfect. With the rainy weather the children enjoyed all the games the home offered while the grown-ups enjoyed sitting on the patio visiting. The beautiful waterfront home had great and easy access to the water. We were able to leave our boats in the water during the stay. We enjoyed the beach area at the home so they kids could swim and play after we returned from boating. We hope to visit this home again soon. We loved the goodie bags that Eric and his family had waiting on us. We felt very welcomed.

Exceeded expectations!!
This property was perfect for our large family. We could all spread out and have our own space and come together as a group also. Eric was so easy to communicate with and a great host. Everything was as advertised and more! We left with the kids asking, "When can we come back?" To which we answered, "Not soon enough!" Thanks for providing us with such a great venue to make memories that will last a lifetime!

Much Needed Lake Wknd
The house was wonderful for our big group to kickoff off the summer for our kiddos! The beach right in front of the house was great for the littles to play and the view was amazing. The Sullivans were great hosts and very accessible for the few questions we had during our weekend.

The Perfect Lake Getaway
We were able to host our big family and have tons of fun at the lake. There's a nice little beach area right at the base of the land where the kids played and adults relaxed and swam. We also brought some boats and fished and tubed (the dock is just about 5 mins away). The house was very clean and gave us plenty of room to relax and have fun. We will definitely be coming back here.

We had a great time at this property. It’s our second time renting this house.
We have had 2 great economic staying at this home. We will rent it again, for sure! The owner is very responsive and is very helpful as well. I highly recommend this property if your going to be staying on Lake Sam Rayburn!

This home is amazing, host - SUPER KIND and accommodating! Our blended family is large.. there was plenty of sleeping arrangements. The view is spectacular. Everything you need is there! The lake house is beautiful, wonderful view and very comfortable for a big group.
The house is equipped with everything you need. Eric is very helpful, he will make sure you have a perfect stay. We received all the instructions on how to get to the property and access it. There are so many things to do, fishing, play in the lake, swim, walk around the beautiful lake ( the big kids took their four wheeler and drove around the lake), sit around the fire at night and have some smores, watch a movie, play game board… The location of the house is very convenient, there are close places to buy groceries, ice and anything you need. We had a great time. Thank you Eric and family for sharing your beautiful house

Thanksgiving with the whole family
We enjoyed our family Thanksgiving stay at lake Sam Rayburn. Eric’s lake house exceeded our expectations! I wish I could give him more than 5 stars! We were a large group that consisted of teenagers, college kids, and adults. This home was set up so well that we never felt crowded and were easily able to prepare our Thanksgiving feast for the family. The downstairs game room and extra kitchen was a big hit with the teenagers! Each night we sat around the campfire and made lots of memories! Our fishermen caught huge Bass right around the corner from the lake house, and the kids enjoyed exploring the lake in the canoe. Eric was always available to answer questions or make suggestions if we needed anything. We would love to plan another trip with our family if Eric will have us again!

Beautiful. Relaxing. An experience
Had a blast and it was literally the perfect getaway. The view was breath taking, and loved watching the sun come up and set everyday. The house was so roomy and plenty spacious, even more than the photos show. Everything that was needed was there , like toilet tissue and paper towels, regular towels etc. and the host was very easy to get in contact with.

Great Lake house for family gatherings
This house is the place to have a family gathering or just a great hideaway from your busy schedule. It is equipped with everything you need. Just bring your groceries and you will have everything to prepare your meals with. The lake is the place to be during early mornings to read or just sit and enjoy the birds. The evenings are fun to have a fire and cook outside and enjoy everyone! You can launch your boat and bring it right to the sandy area in front of the house and leave it there! What else can you ask for!!! We will be back to spend some relaxing time at this lake house.

Disappointed
The third floor had cobwebs, the sinks especially downstairs were not nasty dirty and well as the refrigerators. Both gas grill and charcoal grill were beyond dirty. There was a sewage problem that caused you to sink in nasty mud trying to get to the lake. I voiced all this to the owner. I was told I would get a discount but never did

Hello Jackie, Thank you for nice review. I go to the Lakehouse personally before every booking checks in and I do a walk through. I looked into all you problems you addressed above. After looking into them her is my conclusion: cobwebs: I searched and searched in downstairs and found no cobwebs but there was a small one right by the door. I went ahead and had the entire house exterminated. The sinks in the second kitchen in the first floor are from the original kitchen we remodeled before added the brand kitchen on the middle floor. I assure you they are not nasty and dirty. The sinks are just stained from being older but honestly we don’t use those sinks at all since the remodel and they are there just for extra use if needed. The charcoal grill is a Weber someone left that rented the place I just leave it on patio downstairs if anyone wants to use it. I did open it and it only needed to be scraped off - there is a new one now. The gas grill is only 1 year old and when I went up all it needed was to be scraped down and I bought new grill scrapers and cleaner….I do this before every checkin. We have called 2 different septic companies out to find out if anything is wrong and we are making sure if something is wrong we will get it fixed. We have had the most rain at the lake in the 14 years. I apologize for any inconvenience and I am very hands on with my guest I do everything I can to make your stay the most enjoyable.

Wonderful Lakehouse!
We stayed with extended family during a hurricane evacuation! It was more than a place to stay, it was a place to relax despite the chaos going on in our hometown. Plenty of room for our large family to spread out. The kids loved the bunk room and the beach area! We hope to be back for a “real” vacation soon!!

Beautiful View
Plenty of comfortable beds for a long weekend. Gorgeous view of the lake, especially at sunset. Birds galore throughout the day. Three stories for everyone to have a little privacy and space when needed. I appreciated that there wasn’t any carpet :) after coming in from the lake, which is very easy access. Slept like babies and had a much needed relaxing and fun stay.

Summer lake trip
The house was big and nice, as advertised. Air conditioning worked well. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of beds for everyone - some complained about the beds but mine was plenty comfortable. Lots of seating areas inside and out. The location is perfect for the south end of the lake. It is close to all the islands and public boat ramp, but tucked just out of the way from all the boat traffic. We found ourselves skiing and swimming mostly in the tiger creek arm close to the house. The beach in front of the house had a fair amount of sand (Not rocky at all) and was fine for beaching the boats and tying up overnight. Our only complaints were the neighbor’s dog that showed up on Friday and barked a lot. Especially early in the morning or anytime someone walked outside. The girls had some complaints about a few bugs and roaches on the bottom floor but it wasn’t a major deal. Overall it is a very nice house in a perfect location and we will definitely return whenever we have a big a group.

We enjoyed this place as a family! Very cleaned, stocked up with things you need!
Great access to the lake, It’s a great place for big family. Well stocked. Very clean. This place is great for anyone! We brought our boat and it was perfect to swim at the personal beach and tube in the cove! The outdoor sitting area is well thought through and had plenty of games to play, along with washer boards! It’s absolutely beautiful. Would 100% recommend. Me and my family are already looking to rent it next year!”

Above and beyond
Eric is a fabulous property manager! The house in itself is amazing, totally stocked, several perk amenities (canoe!), very clean. But when we had a few requests and a couple of property hiccups, he was quick to reapond via the app, text and he even called personally to check on us! He more than did more than manage, I would more appropriately call it concierge service. Definitely booking again next year!

2020 Sam Reyburn
Our family of 22 persons ranging from 8 months to 93 years thoroughly enjoyed the property. Everything was exactly as described. Groceries were closeby at Dollar General or 17 miles away in Jasper. We swam, canoes, fished, and launched our boat at nearby Mills Creek. Being Lakefront allowed for amazing sunsets, bird watching, bonfires and just general R&R! Owner was easy to reach for some minor issues. We will be back!
