  • Relax and enjoy a picturesque sunset after a fun filled day boating, jet skiing or fishing on beautiful Lake Cumberland. This neat and spacious home offers three bedrooms, each with its own queen sized bed. An extra queen sized air mattress - plus two full bathrooms allow 8 people to kick back in total comfort. The large deck overlooks the lake offering one of the best views on all of Lake Cumberland. The fully stocked kitchen has everything that the gourmet chef might need to whip together a fabulous meal for the whole crew. A laundry room with washer and dryer makes an extended stay easy to manage. Free satellite TV and a pool table will help keep the kids entertained while free WiFi will allow you to stay connected with the rest of the world. Located only 5 minutes from Somerset, you are also very close to a variety of dining and shopping options.

The host was very welcoming and quick to respond. We cooked Christmas dinner for visiting family members so the well stocked kitchen was very appreciated! This would be a lovely place to stay in the summer.

This was our 2nd Thanksgiving spent at this great house. The view is beautiful and the house was well stocked with everything we needed for a wonderful Holiday weekend. Although the weather was too cold to spend much time outside, we did spend about an hour at the firepit enjoying a glass of wine while our turkey was in the oven.

We enjoyed our stay very much. So many little things that are helpful (salt, sugar, etc) to have some food at the house. It is very close to Somerset, good restaurants, nice marinas and fun things to do. Jon was a very responsive host. We had a little hiccup at check in but all was handled promptly and satisfactorily. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Jon!

The Perfect Get-Away

Location was great, we enjoyed our stay! The views from the deck, especially the sunsets were wonderful! The kitchen and bathrooms were loaded with all that we needed, which was a nice surprise! Jon was easy to get a hold of, and responsive to our needs. Thanks!

Excellent place to stay

Great house and fully stocked with anything you need. Jon, was quick to answer and great communicator!! We only spent two days there but no question would enjoy a week at this place. Marina access close and many places to eat.

Our 3rd year!

The home was clean and fully stocked as always and the kitchen is wonderful to make those family meals when you're not going out. The view gets better each year as they clear out more! So sad to leave ❤

Fahl Family Reunion

We had an amazing stay! We were there for a family reunion & this home was in a perfect location to all our cousins! We even hosted the gang on our last night there! The view was amazing! The home is well stocked with plenty of space for everyone. The deck, for me, was the best feature! Great place to drink coffee in the morning & watch the sunset at night! Would definitely recommend the Hoyt’s home! They were very responsive to any & all questions!

The place look old and no one has been renting it before , not very well maintained .

Not very pleasant, no A/C . The balcony was not clean, the furniture needs to be clean and or replaced, had birds droppings, the floor needs to repair .Inside the house it was ok, but no tip sheets on the beds, no kitchen towels to dry dishes.I will not recommend to any other friend .

Great view

Everything was as listed. The view from the deck is amazing. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The dining room table now seats 6. Driveway is steep but being able to use the garage was priceless. Out of the way enough to give you peace and quiet but close enough to everything if you need something quick. We had our boat with us and parking at the top of the hill worked. The ramp launch ramp at the end of the street was very steep. We used burnside State Park, great launch ramp only 5 minutes away.

Mini Reunion

All the couches went to the floor when we sat down. Old people can not get up from a couch that was worn out 10 years ago so we all had to sit on kitchen chairs. The commode in the basement was made for a midget. Could not use it! Will not stay there again.

Perfect get away with Granny

Had the opportunity to take my 90 year-old grandmother on a trip as she has become quite frail. This house was perfect for us because she was born and raised just down the road in science Hill Kentucky and we got to go see things that were familiar to her. The house was extremely safe and gave her ample things to do, including sitting on the back deck sitting on the front porch or walking up to the road, and looking at the cows across the street in the field. The house was extremely clean, well lit and very safe. There were lots of extra things at the house that we could’ve used, but we didn’t including Ralphs water supplies, and all kinds of games and toys for families who may be staying there. This is one of the best equipped And most clean places I have ever stayed at and I traveled the world. Such a blessing to have this time and I really appreciate Jon and his family going out of their way to make sure the property was ready for us. We hope to come back again sometime in the future.5 star!!!
