Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time at The Americana with our three daughters and their families. We had children ranging in age from 16 months to 15 years. We cooked most of our meals there so we really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and large appliances. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and blankets to accommodate our entire group. My grandchildren love to play games and there was a wide assortment for them to choose from. The backyard was fabulous for anyone bringing children. The younger children spent hours playing on the large playground structure. Of course the zip-line was their favorite. The entire family enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings making s’mores and enjoying the beautiful weather. The hot-tub was also a favorite of young and old alike. My 6-year old granddaughter asked me if we had to leave and her cousins chimed in with the same question. When I explained that we had to go back to our own homes she asked if she could please spend her birthday again next year at the cabin. Needless to say we made some wonderful family memories that will be with us forever.! Thank you Stephen and Sara for being such excellent hosts and sharing your lovely home with us!!

Perfect home in the woods!!

Great house - layout is very nice. Amazing backyard play area for children!! Very nice deck with fireplace, tv, furniture. So nice to have a beverage and watch football!! The kitchen is filled with nice plates, glassware, coffee maker etc. lots of thought into the guests needs. Highly recommend!!

Great stay at the Americana

Really enjoyed our stay at the Americana. Everything was great from beginning to end. Very roomy with a large table for us to eat and play games. Plenty of bedroom/bath space and the upper floor was great for our kids to hang out. Location was close to Hochatown and the lake so very convenient. Would definitely recommend!

Great getaway!

This cabin was beautifully decorated and clean. The owners were quick and responsive. The outside area was a little tricky for toddlers (no fault to the owners-just built on a hill with lots of rocks make for painful falls for littles) we all really appreciated our stay.

Too close to the Brewery

The house is very close to the winery, distillery and brewery. If thats your thing, then this place is good for you. It sits on a cul de sac, so the kids had room to play. We ran into a couple of issues when we checked in but were immediately taken care of. The owners were immediately available. And had plenty of parking

Awesome getaway!

This cabin was so great! It was roomy enough to accommodate our whole family, giving all of the adults their own space and a space of the kids as well! The game room was so awesome, it was enjoyed by all! The back deck was also a great relaxing space. 5 stars all the way!

PERFECTION!

This cabin was amazing, felt so much like home! The beds were all so comfortable, well stocked kitchen, SUPER CLEAN and the kids loved the loft. The owners were beyond fabulous, they were so kind and very quick to respond to any questions! We stay in the area once, sometimes twice a year and these guys were by far the best hosts we’ve ever had, they truly want to make sure you enjoy every part of your stay! Will be back!

Great Family Home

This home is amazing with all the furnishings to accommodate our large family!! We each had our own space and we’re still able to spend quality time together! Hosts respond immediately to any questions we had! Definitely recommend this house!

Heavenly get away in the pines

We arrived and were immediately relaxed with so many wonderful amenities but the favorites were the luscious bed linens, hot tub, fireplaces, and fire pit! TV were in all rooms but we never turned one on:) kids loved the loft and bunk beds too with video games! Wonderful hosts, lovely location which was quiet and felt like a million miles from the noise of Dallas!

Girlfriend’s Glamping Getaway at SeaEsta

This weekend getaway was for me and three of my close girlfriends to decompress and destress. The cabin was absolutely beautiful with all the necessary accommodations. It was nestled among towering trees and while I could hear some street sounds it was not bad. The drive up the hill was a bit steeper than we expected and I’m glad that one of my girlfriends brought her husband’s Jeep! My recommendation is to bring a fire starter; 4 adult women couldn’t get a decent fire going but that had nothing to do with the cabin or its owners! LOL We plan to make this an annual retreat as long as the cabin is available! 💕
