1. The septic system was scheduled to spray the excess "water" out into the yard. The first 2 nights this caused a terrible odor that started around 10 PM.2. There is a problem with the pool. The water level was roughly 1' lower than it was supposed to be. The property manager did not have a water hose long enough to fill up the pool. Once they brought that over I filled up the pool, and the water level was back down to where we started by the next morning. The kids didn't mind, but the pool is already very small and the lower water level certainly didn't help.3. The hot tub water had a very fishy smell, and the programmer said the water had not been changed in 25 days. 4. Propane Grill didn't have any propane. We had to make the 20 minute dirt roads drive to the store to get a new bottle. The property manager did reimburse me for the propane bottle, but still unfortunate for me because they didn't plan ahead...5. I've stayed at several of these cabins over the past few years and this one was by far the cheapest build quality and was clear that it was not maintained by the host. The shower handle in the master bathroom fell off while my wife was showering, there was trash on the back deck we had to clean up when we arrived, and other things similar to this.6. The air conditioning system worked great.
