Upon arrival, we were given the address 54 and the cabin is actually at 59, got into the cabin and immediately it smelled of sewage (turned out to be the trash can in the kitchen). Kitchen stove was sticky, and grill utensils were on the ground outside. There was broken glass in the guest bathroom, and used a tips and tooth floss in the master bathroom. My kids found an old dried up cheese stick in the bedroom with bunk beds, and a pacifier holder. There was sticky food in the couch.
The drawer in the refrigerator was broken, and a handle on the fuse ball table was broken. There were no towels, which we ended up finding in the dryer. And all of the lights throughout cabin flickered very bad.
Messaged host prior to arrival about the storms coming through, and received no response. Also, instructions on cleaning were unclear as far as stripping the beds and putting everything in the laundry room except quilts, but the pillow cases also have quilted covers so wasn’t sure what to do with that, or how to notify anyone on check out.
We have stayed in broken bow several times at other cabins in a similar price range, and never had to strip the beds ourselves, or had it so dirty upon arrival.
Cabin was very cute, just disappointed in the cleanliness especially considering the cost.
