The cabin is so beautiful and cozy. It had everything we were looking for — lots of outdoor areas to watch TV, games, a big kitchen, great dining area. We loved the hot tub and making fires each night. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend in this home. We utilized every seating area. We spent time by the fire pit, in the hot tub, relaxing by the fire both inside and outside and played cards on the back patio. We reached out to the host for a minor question and received a very friendly and timely response. Book it!!!

Beautifully built and decorated. We enjoyed the Christmas decorations as it added to the coziness of the place. The area is quiet and we even saw deer while we were there. This is a great place to stay if you’re looking to relax and unwind. The hosts were very prompt at responding to inquiries too.

We could not have picked a better place to stay this past weekend in Broken Bow! We loved that it was mostly secluded out in the country but convenient to town. The hosts were in contact the whole time and very responsive to our needs. We loved the outdoor amenities fireplace, hot tub and fire pit down by the pond. This home is very clean and comfortable in a serene quiet setting and we would definitely consider staying here again.

The house is just as described and the owners are so quick to respond and helpful. The house looks new and has so many amenities! We enjoyed both getting out to hike and kayak and we loved hanging out at the house around the fire pit, hot tub and the tv on the patio where we watched baseball and football. The kitchen and grill had what we needed. Great place and super close to Grateful Head Pizza which was great. Thank you!

We had an amazing time at Pondevous! The house was beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was a little off the beaten path and the roads bumpy, but still close to the lake and local attractions. The owner was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We didn’t have much luck catching fish in the pond but would recommend using live bait (worms or small minnows). We recommend this property to families or couples wanting to get away and relax.

This home is beautiful, big, welcoming, full furnished with any needed amenities, outfitted with a ton of games for the kids/family, peaceful, quiet, and located only a few minutes from the state park, lake, and boat marina. It had everything we needed to make for a great vacation. The hosts were extremely responsive, helpful, and clearly care about their guests having a great experience. Highly recommend booking here to enjoy some peace and quiet to relax and to spend time in the outdoors.

Home was cozy and clean. Porch was where the family spent most of our time, completely furnished, with fireplace, tv, hot tub and roofed so when it rained we just enjoyed the peace and nature. Owners where super super understanding and worked with us on some special circumstances. Love this place, will go again!

Perfect Getaway Place

Hochatown Stay

My wife, kids and in-laws stayed here while my son was playing in a baseball tournament in Broken Bow. It was perfect for what we were looking for during our stay. Nice place...peaceful...fun time !

Great Time!

The cabin was nicely done and in great proximity to town. We caught and released small fish from the pond, enjoyed the spa, fire pit, and bbq. We saw deer, rabbits and armadillos. Thanks for a great getaway from the daily! It was fantastic

Disappointing and Bad Location

Unfortunately, our stay at this property was disappointing. The location is inconvenient and difficult to get to. Not easy access to most of the attractions in Broken Bow, and the roads leading to it were in absolutely terrible condition—full of deep potholes and some even flooded during the trip leaving us stuck. Upon arrival, we struggled to find the cabin since there were no visible signs or house numbers, and we mistakenly ended up at the wrong property in the dark.Cleanliness and maintenance left a lot to be desired. The place was filled with dusty fake plants for some reason, and the outdoor furniture was so dirty and covered in pollen that no one felt comfortable sitting outside to work, relax, or enjoy the views. We also experienced a power outage during severe storms and tornado warnings, and unfortunately, the internet went out too—leaving us with no updates on weather conditions. We had asked to reschedule due to traveling with a toddler, but the host was more concerned with their overpriced booking. Ironically, they later sent an automated message saying our safety was their top priority—tone-deaf at best.There were also safety concerns. We had a close encounter with a copperhead snake, which made outdoor time nerve-wracking. Lastly, the “stocked pond” appeared to be a bust—only one tinh fish was caught the entire weekend.Overall, we wouldn’t recommend this property, especially for families or anyone expecting a relaxing, well-maintained retreat.
