Pros: The cabin is aesthetically pleasing. The outdoor area is beautiful. There is a nice slide and swings for the kids.The kitchen is adequate and the master bathroom is very pretty. Deer come on to the tree line of the property. Cons: The outdoor area was not cleaned up before we arrived, half eaten hotdogs on the ground, slime on the outdoor fire pit chairs. We came on unusually hot weather days for December over 75 degrees on first two days of our stay and air conditioner did not work at all would not cool the house even one degree. It was a sauna in the house, with two young kids tow that was quite miserable. The owner did send over maintenance, maintenance said there would be a service call put in for next day. No one came. Thankfully the weather changed drastically the next day and the their heater was not affected. So we stayed. However owner and property manager never checked in afterward or offered an apology or anything. Minor repairs are need to some of the railings on the staircase and toilet paper holders in bathrooms. All in all a pretty property but ran without any personal touch, we wouldn’t stay here again.
