I am usually not a person who struggles to find words, but our time in Broken Bow/Hochatown, including our stay at Okie-A has me speechless; simply because all of the words that come to mind are not good enough. WOW. AMAZING. PERFECTION. These are words that describe everything about our vacation. This was my first vacation, in years, where I was able to disconnect completely and enjoy time with my family. I looked at over 50 cabins when researching where to stay. Some were too cabin-like, some were too big, some did not provide the most bang for your buck, and some did not provide the modern amenities I was looking for, until I found the Okie-A. The Oakie-A and surroundings are picture perfect. The hospitality and amenities provided by the hosts made our experience even better. I love to cook. The quality of dishes, pans, stemware, silverware, bakeware, etc. were top notch. We cooked. We baked. We played board games. We played air hockey. We soaked in the hot tub. Most importantly we created memories; memories that will live beyond the pictures.
I would not call myself a clean freak but I am always concerned about cleanliness when staying outside my home. The Oakie-A hosts take pride in their home and ensured it was thoroughly cleaned.
We traveled with 2 adults, a 12 year old boy and my 70 year old mother. The Oakie-A was perfect for all ages, providing space for privacy and breathtaking surroundings.
During our stay, we enjoyed a few local experiences such as the Tiki Boat Tour (The Broken Tiki), Ziplining through the trees (Rugaru Adventures) and speeding through the National Forest on a side-by-side UTV (Mountain Fork Rentals). All experiences were great and we would absolutely do them again.
There is not one negative comment I can say about our stay at Okie-A or even the adventures we had while there. Nick was very attentive and checked-in regularly. Thank you Nick.
We will be back. The Utmost Hosts have earned lifelong customers for their commitment to service. You can truly feel their hospitality the moment you walk in the door.
