Welcome to Grizzly Bear, a spacious 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath cabin set on 5 private acres in the heart of Hochatown. With room for up to 9 guests, it’s the perfect retreat for families, friends, or groups looking to relax, explore, and make unforgettable memories.

This cabin blends rustic charm with modern comfort, offering a peaceful escape surrounded by the beauty of the forest. With WiFi available to stream your favorite shows, TVs in every room, hotel-quality linens, and comfortable spaces to unwind, Grizzly Bear feels like your own private getaway. This is a pet friendly cabin, so we welcome your furry guests as well. Please see the end of this description for services you can add to your stay (early/late check in or out, firewood delivery, pet fees).


The Space
Step inside to a cozy, open living area with beautiful wooden walls, and comfortable seating, the perfect spot to relax and recharge after a fun-filled day.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, and the beautiful wooden dining table provides the perfect spot to enjoy dinner, play games, or share a morning coffee with loved ones. An island with additional seating makes it easy to gather, snack, or spend time together while cooking, adding even more space for friends and family to come together.

The bedrooms are designed for comfort and privacy:
• Master Suite: King bed with private bath – your personal retreat.

• Queen Room with En-suite: Ideal for couples or guests seeking their own space.

• Second Queen Room: Perfect for friends or additional guests.

• Bunk Room: A cozy queen bed below with a twin bed above – ideal for kids, friends, or extra guests.

• Half Bath: Conveniently located in the hall for the second queen and bunk rooms.

Relax and Unwind Outdoors
Step outside to the spacious covered back deck, the perfect spot to take in the peaceful surroundings and fresh air. The covered hot tub is ideal for relaxing any time of day. Roast marshmallows over the fire pit, enjoy a delicious dinner cooked on the grill, or watch a movie or game on the outdoor TV while unwinding in the evening after a fun day of adventure.

Guest Access
Guests have full access to the cabin, deck, hot tub, fire pit, outdoor TV, and outdoor spaces, aside from the owner’s closet. Please note the indoor fireplace is not available for guest use. Covered parking for up to two vehicles, along with plenty of additional parking space, adds extra convenience. Keyless entry makes check-in effortless so your getaway can start the moment you arrive.

Beavers Bend State Park offers scenic hiking trails, thrilling ziplining, and boating or fishing excursions. Hochatown attractions include local restaurants and tasting rooms, giving you a chance to experience the vibrant flavors of Broken Bow. Broken Bow Lake is perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding, or fishing on pristine waters.

Whether it’s soaking in the hot tub, gathering around the fire, or simply enjoying the serene surroundings, Grizzly Bear is the perfect base for your Hochatown adventure. With endless outdoor experiences, local flavors to explore, and a peaceful retreat to return to, this cabin offers everything you need for an unforgettable getaway.

Guest notes and added services:
P e t s : *There is a flat fee of $50/night if you are bringing pet(s). Pet limit is 2. Please reach out to us if you have a special request.
F i r e w o o d: You can opt for bundles of firewood to be delivered to your cabin for your stay. 6-8 pieces (depending on size) for $20. Fee is collected after the reservation confirmation has been sent.
E a r l y / L a t e: We may be able to offer early check-in or late check-out (2 additional hours) for $50 unless there is another reservation within 24 hours of your reservation. This must be requested and approved by your SkyRun host! We compensate our team additional funds for accommodating guest requests and coordinating their daily schedules and/or working after hours to help make this happen for our valued guests. Fee is collected after the reservation confirmation has been sent.
F i r e p l a c e s : Fireplaces are free to be enjoyed seasonally October 1st through April 30th. You are welcome to use the outdoor wood burning fire pit year round! No cooking or roasting marshmallows in any fireplaces, but please roast away on those wood burning fire pits! Tampering or turning on fireplaces outside of the seasonal window will result in fines.
WIFI AVAILABILITY: Wi-Fi is provided as a complimentary convenience for our guest; however, it is not considered an essential part of the rental. Refunds will not be issued for Wi-Fi-related issues including connectivity, speed, local outages, or accessibility.
