"Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink."

"The place was nice and neat with all modern finishes. The two bedrooms had nice large beds with tvs and the kitchen was nice and new. The owner lives upstairs and lives there so being aware of the living situation is important but if you’re looking for a great view, location and place to stay that’s quiet and well appointed, this is it!"

"This was our second stay. It is the mid point for my children and grandchild to have time together. The kitchen is well stocked, games for the grandkids and enough space for everybody to spread out. "This apartment was perfect for our girl's weekend trip! It was clean, comfortable, and beautiful! We also loved the area in the country! But it was minutes away from everything we wanted to do! "For the third year in a row we enjoyed our family time in this beautiful and spacious home. The pool and hot tub are always a big hit. We rented a kayak one day which was fun. Due to some downpours of rain before and during our stay, the ground was a bit soggier than previous years where our grandkids liked to explore along the river. "

"Morning coffee on Conestoga Creek. Peaceful. The house is nestled in a wooded dell, surrounded by Amish farm country. So lovely and cozy. The host provided many little details to make the stay carefree, restful, and convenient. Good for country walks, outdoor dining on the water, and minutes from local tourist sights. I would absolutely stay here again."
