"Nice view from room. Need to update chairs in room. Add more comfortable chairs and decorate, paint and just make it look more inviting. Paint was new but it needed to be scraped and repainted as it was lifting off. I know this sounds petty but it is such a nice place and just up grading would make a huge difference. Water bottles, things to do in area, just some interesting touches and this would be a five star."

"Very occasionally you come across a special place that will stay with you forever. Saucy Willow is that. Beautiful setting and gardens, house that is tastefully and lovingly renovated. The rooms are great, super comfy beds, powerful shower, fridge. Breakfast was plentiful and filled us up (thanks Dave for packaging scones for us to take away). All the small touches show the care that Stephanie and Dave have for their guests - a fire by the river in the evening, beach towels for after swimming,...

"Loved everything! Never done B&B and I think I was spoiled. Spacious room, Nice bed, pillows, lighting, t.v, jacuzzi tub, or shower and an eclectic mix of items and paintings/photos to look at. Also you will not get breakfast like that at a hotel. Served when YOU are ready to eat. My kind of place. Martin and Petra are kind and direct hosts. If they were all like this I would NEVER stay in a hotel again."

"El check in y la estancia de maravilla, el día del check out una pesadilla, la persona en escritorio a las 10:58 llamando y amenazando que el check out es a las 11 a pesar de que avise que saldría a las 12 a su compañero por la madrugada ya que habíamos ido a una boda en Cavan , me hostigo desde las 10:58 am que debía salir, gritaba al teléfono y ordenaba, le dije que al menos 20 minutos y llamó a los 20 Minutos gritando, luego fue a tocar a la habitación, salí a las 11:50 am pero no regreso...

"The room was clean, lots of channels on the tv but shower stream was not stron enough. Overall, great stay for the price."

"Super easy check-in and check-out with a code sent to your phone in advance. The only issue was the neighbours, who apparently needed to have a screaming match at all hours of the night. Couldn't have been controlled by the hotel staff, so not their fault. Luckily, I had earplugs, so it wasn't much of an issue."
