They left us some breakfast foods in the fully stocked kitchen which was a surprise and it was delicious! Incredible panoramic ocean views from multiple rooms! "It is a lovely little cottage well equipped with comfy bedrooms and good bathrooms and in easy walking reach of several long and great beach walks. An easy 10min drive from Broadstairs which is a lovely beach side town with a lot of restaurants. I should imagine very busy in summer though. There is an internal spiral staircase up to the bedrooms, you need a bit of agility for these although there is also an external set of stairs that are easy enough. We had a lovely weekend with our dogs...

"There was no clear indication of how we accessed the property. Despite trying to communicate with the owner, there was no response. We had to just turn up and hope for the best. Luckily, after getting to the pod, the key was there and the stay was good. It has everything you need and is in a great location. "

"I’d definitely recommend the hotel. The keyless entry didn’t initially work, but the communication with the owner was quick and a new code was sent within minutes. The rooms were lovely and there was a good variety of teas and coffees available. I was worried not having check in would mean that the owners weren’t around, but they did help us figure out how to turn the air conditioning off. The location was fantastic and it wasn’t noisy in the rooms. "

"Ric’s cottage has been renovated to the highest standard and has all the amenities for an extremely comfortable stay in Whitstable. A bit of trouble initially finding a parking space but once we found one, we had no need to use the car again, as everything was within walkable distance. Lovely garden for sundowners!
