"We always love staying here, easy access with the boats being parked just down the hill. You have a big sand point just outside the cove for the kids to swim and play. The cabins are always clean and have plenty of towels for lake days. What is a big plus they always have ice for purchase so you don’t have to run to town to grab any. "

"We booked this for my son’s SETX bass fishing tournament. My husband, son, and our boat captain each had their own room and bathroom which was great coming off the water. The host checked in on us throughout our stay and made everything so smooth and easy. She really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She even shared pictures of her dad’s fishing championships back in the day which my son thought was really cool. We will be back for the next tournament for sure. "

The hosts are welcoming and had a little basket of snacks, which we enjoyed.We were a party of 4 adults and 3 medium dogs with plenty of space!The pond and gazebo area is fantastic. The ducks come right up to you! There are so many turtles and fish and you can feed them!Plenty of towels, hand soap, and blankets as well. The beds are comfortable and have lots of pillows. Lufkin is a cute small town with plenty to do and this is a good location!"
