"The main reason for my 2 star rating was the unacceptable noise at night. Sounded like a immersion heater or similar going beserk. It was like trying to sleep next to a jet engine. I was in room 2. I left very early as it was so bad, I just couldn't stand the noise. The hotel wasn't too bad, but ifyou can't sleep what's the point of staying? Not recommended. I'm glad it was only one night."

"We had a wonderful stay in Room 8 (the Shark Room), which was absolutely lovely. The owner is incredibly friendly and gave us a warm welcome as soon as we arrived. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the seafront and surrounded by plenty of great pubs and cafes."

"Conveniently situated & serves the one of the best breakfasts in all of the travelling we’ve done over the years throughout the UK. The owner-hosts were very helpful & genuinely friendly without being imposing. Only one minor criticism of the room in that I found one of my pillows was flat & the other like having my head on a rock. However, my wife’s were fine, so that made everything alright as she told me to stop moaning😉 Our thanks to the owner Peter for the recommendation for the best fish...

"The owners were so welcoming and excited to meet me. Loved the old fashioned keys for room entry and the amazingly delicious breakfast prior to my departure. They literally kept an eye on my car during the night. Would 💯% recommend this quaint B&B."

"Erica welcomed us like family. She took our breakfast order for the next morning (multiple choices) upon check in and walked us to our room. We enjoyed a drink on the patio with excellent view. The chef made an excellent breakfast."
