A superb apartment both in terms of facilities and location. Very modern, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Located in a quiet street, a 5 minute walk to at least 2 boulangeries and the railway station, 8 minutes walk to Carrefour City supermarket and under 10 minutes walk to the centre of Brive.
A paper sack containing washing tabs plus a washing up sponge, a toilet roll and 2 sachets of instant coffee were kindly provided. Washing up liquid plus half a packet of filter coffee/filter papers, pepper and salt, supply of bin bags were already present.
The kitchen was well equipped and included a 4 ring induction hob plus oven and combi oven/microwave plus coffee pot, kettle and toaster plus 4ft high fridge 2ft high freezer and a washing machine. (The only omission in our opinion was a tea towel, there being no dishwasher, which in itself is not a big issue).
A few days before our arrival, we received an email from the owners Sejour a Brive with a helpful video about the check in procedure and, on the date of our arrival, a text providing the code for the lockbox where the keys were stored. Our only issue was that the communications did not specify which apartment on the 1st floor we had booked or how to access the gated car park for the allocated space (lot 3). A quick phone call to Didier who spoke English resolved both. After you take the lift to the 1st floor, it's the second door on the left (note that there are no numbers/names on the apartment doors) and the key fob for the car park access was left with the instruction manual on the dining room table. One of the keys is for the front entrance door to the apartment block, another is for the "side" gate to access the car park by foot, with the 3rd key being for the apartment itself.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay here and would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Brive and it's surrounding area.
