It was fine. It was freezing as I first got into my room, as the heating hadn't been turned on yet. Parking was a nightmare, as the receptionist gave me a voucher after he asked me on the phone to illegally park on the curb outside to explain in detail the parking which didn't need much explaining, then proceeded to give me a voucher, while my car was getting horned out on the street, (which he never stated cost £15 before I used and which was more expensive and less convienint than street parking anyway), so I went away to park in a hurry. For the place itself, it was clean and nice enough, a bit dated, no smart TV with netflix, Amazon prime etc., which is a bit of a necessity these days. Honestly it's one of the worser experiences I've had a with a hotel, especially after a long day of driving and working on my feet. The hotel itself was relatively pleasant but cold, likely due to the Victorian house that it's in.
